I had my box for over a week now, and I am very happy with it. I use it to bring snacks to work (berries, cut avocados, nuts, cheese). It is well made, no sharp edges (also I had to bend the prong that holds the lid a little bit to make snap better - and I will probably have to do it periodically). The hinges are spot-welded to the body of the container - we will see if they will survive the test of time, but so far everything holds up well.I measured the amounts of water the compartments hold when assembled - it is indeed 2 cups for the bottom compartment, 2 cups for the middle compartment and 1 cup for the top compartment. I wish there was a bigger version of this box.

To be honest, when it first arrived I was thinking, “this looks a little too small to hold enough food to satisfy the hunger needs of a man like me.” I work in retail and walk, climb ladders, build statements and stand still very little all day long. But I tried it out any way and was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Held enough in a very compact area and kept my sandwich and veggies freshly chilled for many hours. Would highly recommend.I give it four stars at present because I am a little concerned about the locking mechanism. Top of the bottom holding latch is not sealed closed so I am concerned about longevity; but we will see and if it holds will definitely give a fifth star.

I really like this container. I pack my children's lunch for daycare. I can easily pack a sandwich and hummus in the different compartments for each of them. They are toddlers so they only need half a sandwich. I use the top compartment for fruit (grapes, blackberries, strawberries (cut up)).easy to clean and easy to use. If the sandwich's are a little bulky it kind of is hard to close but that's my fault. I am overall completely satisfied with this purchase and I would definitely buy again!

When I bought this, the price was around 20$. It is made in India, where the local price for this item would be barely 4$ (could be even lower, considering you would get leak-proof lunch stainless lunch boxes for 4$)The lunch box does its job - of not being made of poisonous metals or leaching plastics, of not breaking or collapsing after 3 months of use - of storing food. :-) But it is nothing great & it is possible to get leak-proof stainless lunch boxes at the same price (or lower) even on amazon.Now the price is listed as 57$, which is totally unwarranted and unjustified.Update 11th September,2016: Check out this leak-proof lunch box on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IIF5JFA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It is only 20$ AND it is leak-proof

The box has three layers. The middle layer eats up the space at the bottom. The top layer eats into the middle layer. I put sliced oranges in the top layer and juice leaked. If you are putting anything with even a small amount of liquid forget about it. Your sandwiches will get squashed too.

This lunchbox is pretty good. When the box is empty, the clasps aren't that tight, but I tend to stuff a lot of food in there so it locks decently with food. I also bent the clasps a bit to make them tighter. Because the sections nest into each other, it actually doesn't hold that much food, but it's enough for someone trying to do portion control. I only wish that the box was just a bit taller at least in the bottom compartment. I make peanut butter banana sandwiches with regular thickness sliced bread and the bottom compartment is a bit too shallow so the sandwich gets a little squished.

I get a lot of compliments with this at work. It has 3 compartments. A sandwich won't fit without getting smooshed, and one of my hinges is a bit loose and doesn't secure the top as well. Other than those 2 compliants I love this product.

Gets the job done, but not the best quality. The locks are somewhat weak on one side. Definitely not for anything that might leak. Not a very good value for the price. But I will keep it, since I want at lest one set of stainless steel boxes.
