In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. Again at my door in less than two days. They look great and feel great, very light weight, good for running and the gym. And there in Miami Heat colors, bonus!

Best all around lifting and cardio shoe I've found!
Asics makes some of the best training shoes on the market - these were approved by my podiatrist and have proven to be perfect for both weight training and all types of cardio (from running/sprinting to biking). They run about a half-size small (I'm a 12 and 11.5 were best), but with velcro and lacing really fit solidly.

A Shoe I Keep Reordering
I love this shoe, although I'm puzzled why the black pair of this same shoe is $20 more. I ordered 2 pair this time as it is hard to find a walking shoe this comfortable and I'm concerned at some point Asic will stop making them.I can wear these shoes all day even after a 3 mile walk. The Velcro strap helps with side foot support as I tend to walk on the outside of my feet. The wear is fairly even though regular fast walking on concrete can chew the treads off pretty quickly.

Nice Shoe
The shoe fits and looks great. Very light for my my cardio workouts. Asics should make the shoe available in Navy or dark gray as well. The price was more than ten dollars less, than if purchased online from the Asics site.

Wow!! Really good sneakers!!
Not only did they fit well but I was afraid of staining the white color, but so far everything washed off easily to my surprise, still I wouldn't recommend staining it as I did it by accident; I think I just got lucky.

Need toe strap
A little more room in toe box that other Asics shoes so you will need teh adjustment strap. They seem to run about a half size large in toes and heels, but length is the same. Otherwise vry comfortable shoes. Lightweight but the Solyte lack the cusioning needed for plyo workouts like Crossfit, Insanity, or P90X. Good and steady for things like strength training though.

Great gym shoe.
Light, responsive, able to handle sprints as well as lifts. The strap over the forefoot really locks down the entire shoe so that it moves with your foot. Would not recommend for cold - it's a thin shoe. Great shoe for the gym.

Decent Shoe, but expected to be better
I was hoping the show would have a more snug fit. The length is as expected, but my foot moves around inside the shoe towards the front (even with the strap)It's light and airy, I was hoping I could use for some light hoops in addition to running, but with the movement of the foot inside the shoe, I don't think it's possible.I would not purchase again, it just didn't fit my needs.
