I accidentally broke my mother-in-law's shaker and found the exact pair she had, except new. Not sure how long she's had hers, but these new ones let the salt and pepper flow much faster than her old ones do, haha. It took a few days for the family to get used to these. They're exactly what I needed, though, and they're just as described and pictured.

I purchased these for salt and garlic powder to keep on my stove side since I tend to use these two spices more than others. I love them. The handle is easy to grab, not too big or too little. The holes for shaking are sufficient in number but I just wish the holes were a little bit smaller because I need to put rice in them to keep the contents free from humidity. The rice falls through. So, if you don't worry about humidity and don't need to put rice in the salt etc, then grab them. I am still happy with mine. I am going to see if there is another way of preventing the humidity from building up. I'm still considering getting 2 more for my coffee bar area for cinnamon, chocolate or nutmeg I put in coffee maker, coffee is delicious when brewed.

Bothe these to replace our olds ones with a cracked plastic cap. The metal caps are so much better.

It's just what I wanted. It holds a decent amount of salt and pepper, shakes it out evenly, and is sturdy. Very happy.

I was really confused after reading the reviews. People are talking about small sized holes??? Not sure which holes are they talking about! These shakers have the largest holes I have ever seen......on the salt/pepper shakers.....of course. This makes these suitable for use during cooking when you want to be generous with the salt + these are good for dining too; you just have to make sure you tilt them slightly to get the amount you need.These are reasonably priced, good size & look nice on the dining table.
