I play beach volleyball quite regularly and, unfortunately, have to do it in UK's weather that keeps bringing a lot of surprises. My primary use is to keep my feet warm while playing on cold sand and they work perfectly for that.I had used other neoprene socks before I purchased these and am genuinely surprised with their durability. They survived regular training sessions and plays for about a month already where my other socks got holes in them after 3-4 uses.They are reasonably comfortable as well due to the elastic material. It feels. like they are made of some sort of thick lycra while the soles are made of neoprene armed with some stitched synthetic material. It certainly good enough to keep the temperature. The only downside is fit, which is so-so - I went for L size, which is the right one for me size-wise but after a few minutes of play they start to move and allow sand inside, which isn't huge deal - just irritating. My other neoprene socks were much tighter fit that allowed to avoid scratched toes after trainings. I suppose, this is just due to elasticity of the material that tends to stretch with heat or moisture.And yeah, they also soak water from sand if you play after rain. Again, not a huge deal but also contribute to overall feel of instability while you play as sand sticks to your feet and adds volume to move around with the sock as you move.I still give them 5 stars cause so far these are the only socks that seem to last longer than 3 plays.

Firstly I would like to start with the product, the beach socks. I just started with beach handball and therefor needed beach socks.The socks are of good quality and walk comfortable. The sole of the sock is a little thicker and protects my feet nicely from any debris that's laying on the floor. They're also capable of maintaining a nice temperature for your feet, when it's too cold (it tends to rain or get cold allot) I just put on my sport socks before the beach socks and then it's fine. With my EU44/45 I'm (in my opinion) at the limit of the size M socks (my experienced teammate advised me to take size M). My toes touch the end of the sock but fit nicely while walking or playing.Now I would like to talk about the absolute PERFECT customers service of Nordic Essentials. One pair of the Beach socks had an anomaly, thus I contacted them. They responded within a few hours and were really helpfull and solution minded. Within the whole conversation they replied very fast to all of my messages and helped to solve the situation in no time at all. I'm really pleased with their service, keep it up Nordic Essentials!

Love these sand socks. I have really sensitive skin and walking along sand it too harsh and blisters my feet. These allow me to walk about on the beach and in the water and to the toilets and back without getting sore feet. I prefer the black to the blue. They have a very strong chemical smell, so I soaked the loads and washed a couple of times. They’re not the sexiest look but as long as I get to walk on the beach that’s good for me!

Finally got the chance to wear these (first time ever I've been happy it was wasn't warm playing beach volleyball...)The fit was great, I didn't have to keep pulling up or adjusting etc. They were really comfy, and great value for money too!

Not exactly that I thought is going to be, probably I did a wrong choice.They way they are at the top, doesn’t work for me.I am not using unfortunately

Feel great on. Not too tight. The sole is good for sand and they are thin enough to fit comfortably inside crock type shoes for rougher surfaces!

Fantastic product, I m using it with socks, I can keep playing beach volleyball even when the temperature is low and sand humid. End of October in GB and still playing beach volleyball till 6pm (with floodlights).
