Dokkodo "The Way of Walking Alone" by Miyamoto Musashi Illustrated Edition: Timeless reflections from the legendary swordsman, philosopher, ... Musashi (The greatest samurai of all time)

I was kind of intrigued by this as I thought how would an illustrated edition of Dokkodo, the way of walking alone, would look, I should have read the reviews before hand as this IS a childrens colouring book.There is a picture on one page and one of the 21 principles in huge lettering on the opposite page, these are directly as they appear online in places such as wikipedia.The illustrations were not especially great, to be honest it would have been more pleasing if it had been accompanied by wood block prints such as The Crest of The Great Wave but these are not in that league at all. Would not recommend.

I expected a book about explaining Dokkodo. I got a poor quality colouring book. The only text is a page that states the general rule; opposite is a poor picture to colour in.Returned to Amazon.
