Great tabs with excellent instructions
Fantastic tabs, regardless of whether you are following the Great Adventure bible study. The instructions for applying were excellent and prevented a lot of mistakes! I can't say enough how helpful the instructions were.

Easy to use, looks great once installed, and very durable.
This is my third set and they get better each time. I am still using the original two on my earliest bible, and this set is for my third bible, which is a "study" bible.

Tabs for your Bible
You want to have the time to place these tabs on your Bible.Read the instructions. The reviews contain some good tips, which helped me with my tabs. If you are using The Great Adventure Bible, you already have a built-in guide to place your tabs. I took my sheet of tabs, folded them on the creases, and removed them from the backing, placing them down. Once you fold the tab and the label touch, they are set. If you try to reset, you can get the clear part of the tab off the page, but the label itself will tear.Patience is a virtue and your patience may be tested, but for me, well worth it. :) Peace and all good!

Easy to apply! (Just don’t follow all of the directions)
I bought these to place in a bible I purchased for my second round with the Bible in a Year podcast (highly recommend that if you’re interested in having a deeper understanding of the Bible) - I read the reviews that talked about the difficulty in placing the tabs so I knew to approach it with caution lol…. I found that if I folded the top and bottom of the “placement guide” (instead of cutting the guide to size as the directions recommend) that allowed me to utilize the top and bottom fold to isolate a single page (and avoid accidentally trapping two pages together) and it freed up my hands to focus on placement. Also, I placed the “practice tab” at the top of the guide which made it super helpful to easily hold the page up when placing the tabs. I’ve included photos to help explain my process… working it this way, they were super simple to apply… like the Bible says, Do not be afraid! 😁

Lots of Work! Kind of Pricey!
I ordered these to install on the The Large Print Great Adventure Bible from the same company, Ascension. See my review elsewhere on the bible. The tabs arrived on time and in good condition. They will do what they are intended to do and are made of high-quality material. The printing and coloration are really good. With that let me make a few comments.First, there are a lot of tabs in this packet. It is a lot of work putting these on. Be prepared to work over several days. I did them all over a four-day period. The steadiness of my hands could not do it all in one extended session. See the first picture above. For me, I prefer the cut-out finger tabs like the second bible shown in my pictures, and I don't have to do the work! With that said, these tabs were the best option for this bible and they work just fine.Second, do you need them? That is a subjective determination. It is nice being able to quickly find and flip to a book in the bible. But then you must ask yourself, how quickly do you need to find a book that you can't just flip through the bible to find it? Readings are always pre-published so you can use the bible ribbons to mark them. Bible studies - you can mark them ahead of time with the ribbons as well. Random bible flipping, is that really a time sensitive endeavor? You will have to make the determination if you need them yourself.Third, There are a lot of tabs when all are installed. They tend to cover each other making it a little more difficult to read and find the correct tab. But this is not a major issue, you can find them, just a bit difficult. There is no solution to this issue, it is just the way it is. No fault of the tabs, just the way the bible is structured.InstallationThere are several videos on YouTube about how to install these. I won't go into much detail but just offer a few comments based on my experience with installing them.1) These tabs are very sticky and they will stick to most anything, and then not come off easily. Handle them with care and make sure you do not touch anything you don't want them to stick to, especially other bible pages! They will grab the thin paper in the bible and you will tear your bible pages trying to get the tab off. This isn't a big issue, just be careful and deliberate. If you don't have a steady hand, you may want to ask someone else to put them on for you.2) You need something to put between the pages as you try to apply these tabs. I found that a sheet of the non-stick aluminum foil works pretty well. The tabs will stick to it a little bit but will easily come off.3) The tabs come with a template to lay over the page to determine where the tabs should be installed. I found this to be non-essential and cumbersome. You need both hands to install the tabs so trying to hold the template in place is just more work. The pages have colored rectangles printed on them so I just use these rectangles to determine placement.4) The thin pages will move around and bow or blow up a little. If they inadvertently move up and hit the tab, it will stick! If the page twists or moves as you get ready to place the tab, you will install it crooked. Use one hand to hold the page down, and the other hand to apply the tab.So here is how I did it.Place the non-stick tin foil under the page you want to put the tab on. Make sure you only have one page selected or it will be a problem.Peal the tab off the paper and keep it flat, place it on the tip of your right hand (left if you are left-handed). Hold the page down with your left hand (right if you are left-handed) carefully move the tab towards the page square to the edge and with the free edge of the tab tilted very slight up.Position the tab evenly over the colored rectangle on the page and align it with the black line even and square with the edge of the page. Lower the tab down onto the page. It is stuck! Press it firmly into place. This is important. Lift the page up and begin folding the tab over by grasping it in the middle between your index finger and thumb and applying easy pressure. Always pinch in the middle of the tab. If you pinch the edges you will get an uneven application, creases and bubbles in the tab. Gentle pinch the tab together being careful to keep it perfectly aligned and then allow it to stick to the page. Again at this point you are only working in the very middle of the tab. Once it is stuck in the middle, apply pressure from the center out towards the edges until evenly applied. Be careful, you can do it!Depending on which bible you have, there will be extra tabs left over. These can simply be discarded.Overall, this product is of good quality and does what it is intended to do. I prefer other methods of indexing my bibles but that was not an option with my bible. I have not installed these on the smaller Discovery Bible so I cannot comment on the process there. I assume it is very similar.I recommend these tabs if you don't mind doing the work necessary to get them installed. God Bless!

Very Helpful when applied carefully
These were not as difficult to apply as one previous reviewer remarked. They are, however, VERY adhesive. So, you do have to use care to place the tab exactly where you want it, and be absolutely certain it is stuck to only one page before folding it and sticking it to the other side of the page.
