I normally don't have time to write reviews but I had to on this one. Have terrible issues with anxiety and chronic pain. My doctor said the areas of anxiety and pain are close together in the brain thus anxiety can cause pain. The problem is figuring how to treat the pain. I was started on Nortryptiline and could tell it was improving my pain but the side effects were horrible and I'm going through detox now trying to get it out of my system. I tried Lyrica previously and had terrible withdrawal symptoms when I stopped taking it. I woke up this morning in terrible pain with my heart beating fast, dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, felt like I wanted to die. I remembered I had bought a bottle of Tranquil Calm and decided to give it a try as I have to go to work tomorrow and am desperate. Within 10 minutes my palpitations went away and I started to feel better. I've been taking it every couple of hours and I can tell a huge difference in how I feel. If you're going through withdrawal from a prescription anti depressant this will help you get through it. For some reason my body does not like any kind of unnatural medications so I've always had to try and find natural remedies. Am going to try 5 HTp and St. Johns wort as soon as I get the prescription stuff out of my system and see it it helps my anxiety and pain. This stuff really works! 5 Stars!

I have had anxiety for a couple years, mostly to do with environmental stressors and have, within the last year, looked into all natural remedies for reducing anxiety. I like to take something only when I am feeling especially anxious or have trouble sleeping. I will take this about an hour before wanting to fall asleep and it just really helps calm your nerves and you just feel so relaxed and calm. You can fall asleep or you can just do something relaxing like browse the internet, read, or watch tv. I wouldn't say this is something that you would want to take and go to work, though. It could be something you take when you get home from work. It is not going to make you SO sleepy that you can't drive or anything like that; it just makes you feel relaxed and less on edge. It definitely helps transition you to get ready for sleep.The Tranquil Calm serving size is 1 capsule and can be taken up to 3 times per day, which is a lot to take as part of your regular supplement program. I don't take that much. I take 1 capsule around say 8pm on days when I feel my anxiety or stress running high. I understand why they are to be taken on an empty stomach; quicker release into your body. Anxiety can come on quickly so, the supplement should also. I like the way how this Tranquil Calm reduces my stress every time I use it. I take one capsule every night to keep me relax and stress free. The fact that it is made of natural ingredients makes me feel safe instead of taking other anti anxiety medications. I know how the GABA works in affecting our mood since I am a nurse.
