Terrible product, but it did arrive promptly. I use them to attach heating cables and insulation to water pipes under a cottage to prevent freezing in cold weather. I've used other brands of ties like these in the past. I've just used two packages of this brand and was surprised to find that about 20% of them failed to latch. The little grooves that provide the ratchet action seem to have been molded badly.I've just bought two more packages from a different manufacturer at a local hardware store and expect better performance, as other brands I've used have less than a 1% failure rate.

There really isn't a lot to say about zip ties other than the fact that these do seem substantial, meaning that they are thicker than some other I have purchased. If they hold up to the intense UV we get here in northern WY they are very good indeed, though that I won't know for some time yet.

It seems as if I got a poor quality batch from China. I purchased these Zip ties in June 2016 and kept them indoors (non-smoking) in the sealed bag. Today (Dec. 07, 2016), I used them for the first time. Every single one broke at the connection. Worst thing is to do a job that fails, then you pay to redo it. I live in the desert of Las Vegas which is subject to high temperatures with intense UV rays. I use mesh wire against the wrought iron fencing to keep rabbits from coming into my yard. They are voracious eaters and will decimate my landscaping. I was tired of the Harbor Freight $1/free cable ties lasting about 2 years. Based on the reviews of "OUTDOOR EXTREME," they either work or have rejects. I would not trust them to last longer than the cheap ones as they advertise. Save your money, use a coupon, and get them for free from Harbor Freight.

These are some nice heavy duty zip ties, and worked just like I hoped to help me attach some black plastic hardware net to the railing of my deck for dog-proofing. With the high winds we've been having this spring, the staple gun I'd previously used to tack the hardware net just wasn't standing up to the test... I kept coming out to find that one half of the netting around the deck had blown loose. These ties have kept everything in place.

Every tie we tried broke. The locking latch inside of them just broke off. Very disappointing as I bought four bags to put up our snow fence.

While using these to mount a privacy screen, we found that about half of the locking mechanisms broke when trying to fasten them down. I don't know if it was a bad batch, but I am very disappointed. I expect better of Amazon.

I used a few of the ties. About 1/3 of them would not lock and were usable. Ive never bought zip ties before so I don't know if that is normal. The ones that locked were good.

Strong and easy to use. I us deer fencing to keep my cats in and other animals out. Zip ties are necessary to close the inevitable gaps that time and persistent animals create. These have been quite satisfactory so far and I plan to order more.
