Mrs Bridges Christmas Chutney, Made in Scotland, 8.4oz Jar (Pack of 1)

My son and I enjoy Indian foods as often as possible, and we use a lot of chutney. Since moving from big-city California to small-town New England we've had a hard time finding a variety of nice chutneys for our pantry. I noticed this one here on amazon some time last year, and made note of it as something to order for the holidays. I am so glad I did! This compares favorably with our favorite chutneys, and the supplier, Great Scot, provides excellent service. We recommend Mrs. Bridges Christmas Chutney to anyone who enjoys chutney, and we suggest that chutney enthusiasts ignore the holiday label and enjoy this product year-round.

This was absolutely delicious with the prime rib my family had and Christmas! My dad is very particular about how to eat prime rib, and any kind of sauce or chutney he thinks takes away from the flavor of the meat, so he refused to even try it, but my mom, my brother and I couldn't get enough! It ADDED to the flavor of the meat, and made the whole meal that much more enjoyable! I would strongly recommend this to anyone making any kind of beef roast, prime rib, etc.

Chutney can be an acquired taste for many, but this Christmas chutney was a nice sweeter accompaniment to our prime rib this holiday. Very high quality ingredients in every way--has the savory addition of onions to temper the sweetness a bit. Attractive for gift-giving. Some people can't handle the horseradish-sour cream sauce we put out for the meat and so this is a nice and festive option for the big day. Lovely color on the table.

This Christmas Chutney is so delicious! This is my second year of purchasing this item. It’s going to be a new tradition for our family. We love putting it on crackers with Brie and beef stick. We also used it on the side with our Christmas prime rib roast.

A little different from other chutneys I've tried -- a little sweeter, and less of a vinegar bite -- but good enough to eat straight out of the jar with a spoon. (Not that I've done that ...)

This chutney is perfect with cheese. It arrived on time and very well packaged.

It may say Christmas but will be perfect with all holiday meals starting with Thanksgiving.A welcome addition to cheese plates

These chutneys are wonderful on my holiday table although they are great any time of the year. I have tried them all and each one is unique. Just delicious.

A great little present for foodies and traditionalists alike. The pot is very, very nice, the chutney very tasty. Delivery was swift and the packaging extremely safe. Might reorder!
