I used (1) Sonkir Soil pH Meter, MS02 3-in-1 Soil Moisture/Light/pH Tester Gardening Tool Kits for Plant Care, Great for Garden, Lawn, Farm, Indoor & Outdoor function to measure pH and (2) Atree Soil pH Meter, 3-in-1 Soil Tester Kits with Moisture, Light and PH Test for Garden, Farm, Lawn, Indoor & Outdoor (No Battery Needed) to measure pH In order to determine if they were accurate. I compared (1) and (2) and (3) PentaBeauty PH Meter, PH Meter 0.01 PH High Accuracy Water Quality Tester with 0-14 PH Measurement Range, TDS Meter for Water/Brewing/Food/Soil/Sauce/Laboratory. A measurement using (1) showed a pH of 7.5 with bottom 1” of probe depth and 6.9 with whole probe, (2) showed 7.5 pH with 1” probe depth and 6.9 pH with whole probe depth and (3) measured 4.96 pH for my attempt to get a mixture of water and white vinegar to a pH of 5.0. I do not recommend either (1) or (2) for pH measurements but moister and light readings are acceptable. (3) came with solutions to calibrate the meter. (3) is repeatable and very accurate. The only problem with (3) is that it has a lifetime of perhaps one month to a year because its electrodes have a finite life, and that lifespan depends greatly on the type and severity of service. For the price difference and wise use of (3), it makes sense to only buy (3) for pH measurements. My workaround for not being able to trust the poor meters (1) and (2) for pH measurements and the limited lifetime of meter (3) is to use (3) to create precise mixtures of water and white vinegar to get desired pH for different berry bushes irrigation. So, as long as I use (3) for limited use, I can get very precise results without using (3) too much which has a limited lifetime.

This is a great product to easily check ph of liquids without the hassle of ph strips or chemical ph drops. I purchased this electric ph meter to aid in growing Spirulina. Now I can easily and accurately check ph levels whenever I need too. It would be great for fish tanks, wine making, or hydrated soil ph checks as well... If you monitor ph levels as often as I do, this device will also save you money... A win win as far as I am concerned... Once calibrated, using the included instructions, it can be your go to for practical ph level check needs...

I bought this for my hot tub. I tried putting it in the tub and the readings were all over the place. Then I took a clear glass and filled it one inch deep and put the meter in. It quickly settled down. Using this technique I give it five stars across the board.

It's been a while since I got this, but tried to calibrate it and it's nowhere near accurate, and there's no instructions for different measurement points...so if it starts that far off (in my case, by THREE - i.e. it measure pH 1.0 using the 4.0 solution) then it's essentially useless. Past the return period...but this is hardcore garbage. Unless you enjoy contributing to the plastic waste in the world and supporting trash products, find something else. I've had plenty of pH meters over the years and this is far and away the worst one I've tried using. I can't give it zero stars, unfortunately, but if I could, I absolutely would, since I've used it zero times...

I bought a blue pH Meter in November of 2020. I didn't use it. Finally, in May 2021 after the loquat harvest, I needed it. It didn't work. It was beyond Amazon's warrantee period. I emailed Peace4Me and gave them the purchase number. They mailed me a new one no charge for the unit or the mailing. It worked like a champ. In about a year, we'll see how the plum wine turns out. End conclusion for me is Peace4Me has a good product and they are a reputable vendor standing behind what they sell. I would buy from them again.

There is nothing wrong with this product. My problem is that you have to calibrate each time you use. Calibration on this product isn’t smooth.

My boyfriend bought this to test our ph for our plants!! And it works fantastic!!! It’s so easy to use. And he said that he’s bought other products just like this one but for a lot more money and they didn’t even work as well as this product. I highly recommend it!! We definitely will be buying this for our other friends that grow plants. Especially outside.

Purchased this to monitor the pH of my aquariums. So far, so good. Accuracy has been consistent. Further reading was off ~.2(I'm comparing the pH monitor's results to the results from an API Freshwater pH Test Kit, so there may have been some user error, such as trying to determine what color/shade the test kit read). I would recommendthis as an easy alternative to test kits as this is much easier.

It will not go into calibration mode.
