BBQ Barbecue Smoking Wood Chunks Food Smoke Apple, Hickory, Oak, Cherry, Mesquite 100% Natural No Chemicals (Hickory 3 Litre)

These are very good for smoking large cuts of beef and pork. For chicken they are a bit much though, even with just one it to process on top of going coals the result is a bit over the top. Not tried fish yet but I expect the same to be true there also. I’d recommend sparing amounts of this wood especially if using a closed barrel smoker like mine and make sure fire is well ventilated to keep the smoke clean and the flavour gentle

Not what I expected and won't buy again

you know it won't be good when a box smaller than a shoe box arrives with wood chunks in.. i think there was 5 pieces.. won't buy again

Definitely hickory wood and does smoke, but the size is honestly pathetic so absolutely useless for smoking as the 'chunks' burn through so quickly. See picture for reference, pear wood chunk on right, biggest hickory in the box on left.

Absolute rip off don't buy and waste your money !!

A large Amazon box arrived and inside was a tiny box of chunks…..I’ll buy the Weber ones next time as they are better value for money

Would have liked smaller pieces but was very easy to split. Worth the little effort for the fantastic taste it gave to our barbecue. Will certainly buy again, thank you.

We have only used this twice so far but we're amazed at how long this product lasted on the BBQ before dying out and the flavour that it added to the food being cooked was wonderful 😀
