Mercer Mayer the new baby
A really good toddler book when they are getting a new sibling, helps them understand what they can do and what the baby can’t do just yet

Nice book
Nice story, manages expectations for new sibling and preschool aged/kindergarten aged relationship (mostly). Little critter is a classic series that little kids seem to respond to nicely. Arrived quickly and without damage. Used as a gift from baby to older sibling.

Great toddler introduction to being a big brother
This is a great big brother book. It teaches new and younger big brothers how to relate to their little siblings.

Very Basic for the Smallest of Children
We bought this book as a back up to another children's book to introduce our son to the idea that he is getting a new sister. It is a simple story that probably best serves a 2-3 year old child as there is about one short sentence per page and illustrations are large, colorful, and predominant. The book lets your child know that a new baby won't be interested in playing with him, that she will mainly need to eat, be changed, etc. I like that it explains alternate activities to do with the baby and mom and dad such as give her a rattle or take her for a stroll. That is very safety focused and small children need those ideas explained often. The book shows the baby drinking from a bottle so you will likely be disappointed if you nurse. also, while the book clearly explains baby's physical limitations, the book's illustrations depict baby as pretty advanced. She's always sitting around on her own with her head up, sucking from a bottle on her own, etc. It is a short, simple book for the smallest of children. My son enjoys it. I don't think I'll be handing it out as a shower gift later, but it is a nice story to read to our child.
