I completed the test. I live outside the US so I need to pay for postage. Still good value
I thought I had not received the test kit, it is small and compact. One swab tests many areas. You will get a swab kit, a sensitive items bag and a glove. Everything is sterile for lab analysis. Then you will need to label everything correctly and ship it back to the USA.(I NEVER RECEIVED THE LAB RESULTS) I'M CLAIMING A REFUND.

ONLY TEST SANCTIONED BY DOD MILITARY HOUSING
Great product! Only test sanctioned by DOD military housing, only lab that is approved in all 50 states and they have the only lab tech certified in all 50 states by the EPA. Great team to work with. This test was integral in moving us to better and healthier housing. The lab is fast and easy to work with. If not for this lab we wouldn’t have known how bad our housing is and would not have been able to advocate for better housing. They are an extremely knowledgeable company. I have no affiliation financially with them. I recommend them as they have given us the tools to live in safer and healthier housing.

Waste of money
We purchased this product and did the test as directed. We followed the directions and used the provided return envelope. We mailed it off as instructed. It has been 3 weeks and no results. I contacted the Mold Test Company and they cannot find the sample in their system. And because the test wasn’t directly purchased from them (which I don’t realize at the time) they cannot help us. So we wasted our money and still don’t know if we have mold.So if you’re thinking of purchasing purchase directly from The Mold Test Company.

Most importantly you have to get the TRUTH!!!
Out of all the reviews & comments I read on accuracy of these home test kits I went w this one because I had already spoken w this company in Georgia & am still working with them. I believe they are honest & fair.

Easy to use
Took about 5 days to get results. They wanted to discuss results and offer cleaning options. It's not rocket science understanding results, then Google how too.

Enviro swab test super easy to do
This is a basic oen time, 4 or more spot environmental swab test. They give recommendations, you walk around your house, swab then they send to a basic EuroFins (lab company) location for a general mold spectrum test to check for common household molds (not all species). Test was fine, results are given in paper but they will have a rep speak with youThis part is my only area of complaint. I am somewhat trained in this area for consumer goods facility testing and they came back with some species and counts saying I should be very concerned and need to hire someone or get instruction to clean my house out right away. Problem is, even when I mentioned weather and my outdoor counts are about the same from the week I did the swab, the person insisted I was risking health, etc.I actually had an allergist (awarded, long time personal MD) visit and he even said the counts matched current outdoors and were in very good ranges considering the rain in area. The person on the phone from the lab had insisted there should be no mold spores in the house. Here is the thing, 1. You will have outdoor exposure no matter what due to air/ventilation exchange that is normal and just walking in/out of house. Unless you have a medical sterile room grade filtration system and walls. 2. Spores are actually when the mold goes into a "hibernation" of sorts, or their "egg" state. I explained there were no visible spots, odors, current indoor wet areas. The person tried to tell me that I had to have a leak of at least 70-80% to even have spores show up. As a science trained person with sufficient microbiology basics and applications work, a) depending on mold type, some mold grows as low as 40-50% (ever see mold in a jar of forgotten jam or tomato sauce in your fridge?) And also, yes it loves 70-95% humidity, and generally is growing rather than going into spore state. So there would be colored or white fuzz, or black spots or odor if the humidity is high enough and also, having had mold allergies, I certainly would have been choking by then even if not visible. And of course, the person had so many recommendations and referrals.So.. test is fine, I got the data I needed. I was curious about what they would say, and it felt frightening and pressured. After reading the actual report, and comparing some environmental values around area from the same week, it was obvious my results were actually very good, and even a little lower than outdoor counts (slightly) which meant my filters were working. So, just please do your homework. The count results are worth getting but spending additional money for cleaning without any other suspicious signs or without external environmental values to see what is in the air around you and outside of the home to compare, is definitely not worth it and can become a costly headache. In my case, from experience from jobs, I can say any "mold cleaning" would have been extremely expensive and would not have been a significant enough reduction without changing my walls, door and window seals and types, HVAC filtration system and sealing off my attic area and fans then rerouting the attic airflow systems into the rest of the HVAC system before having any real significant effect to the "mold spores count". Plus I would have to get rid of all my plants and pots with any soil, and be careful with any fresh local vegetables with roots and soil traces, as well as not let pets come in from the outside, mine or friend's pets who might track some spores in. And frankly, mold spores are only removed fully with very specialty, expensive severely dangerous chemical cleaning (such as chloride gas types), and I don't want those types of chemicals in my house unless I have black mold overgrowth that is at true life threatening numbers!
