Everyone should have these swabs...They do a god job cleaning the camera sensor. Please know wether you have to order full frame on the saw for smaller sensor...

As advertised
I use these to clean lenses for the machines that perform laser eye surgery. It does a lot better than the tissue option that my company gives me. Very easy to use but I can't comment on the value because my company just pays for it. Quality is great and cleans really well

Excellent product for lens and occasional sensor/mirror cleaning
I've purchased these before - they are terrific for cleaning lenses with non-streaking lens/sensor fluid. They are also perfect for the (very) occasional full frame sensor/mirror cleaning (which always requires a very delicate touch to avoid damaging the glass.

A tad short but effective cleaning
I noticed that these swabs are short by about 1-2mm and aren't able to cover the entire height of my sensor (Sony A7iii). I don't think it's advised to double swipe since you can technically redistribute dust once the swab is dirtied up, but I did precisely that: two left-to-right swipes -- one swipe up top and one on the bottom to cover the sensor area it missed. I could see this being problematic if, like a squeegee, it shovels off solution or dust along its edge. Didn't happen on my first go but it still doesn't feel great. I added a stretched photo of my before & after using just one swab's front and back side. It cleaned all of the motes but introduced one in a corner; that's fine. I used the Altura spray solution from their own sensor cleaning kit.

Wow...FINALLY a product I have the confidence to use
I have been a photographer for 40 years and switched to digital in the early days. Sensor dust has always been an issue and I tried various swaps when they first became available with less-than-satisfactory results. Recent delays at Nikon have created extended times to get sensors cleaned, so I started considering the DIY approach again. What I found is that the swaps available today completely overcome the shortcomings that made me abandon sensor cleaning about 10 years ago - these are fantastic and leave zero fibers/lint/dust on the sensor. It took me a few attempts to balance how many drops of fluid to use to avoid little droplets being left to dry on the sensor and to improve my technique of starting and finishing a pass across the sensor so that I finished in the "margins" where there are no active pixels around the edges, but once I figured that out I was amazed - these are AWESOME. I will never pay for a sensor cleaning again. My confidence on sensor cleaning has gone through the roof - now I'm cleaning other peoples' sensors for them!

Because they are magnets.
The photosensor in my Sony SLR type camera is a magnet for dust. No matter how careful I am opening it to change lenses, some small piece of dust will get in there and I'll notice it immediately and my photographs. So I bought these wipes and found them to be quite great at cleaning off my camera sensor.

Go-to sensor swabs
If you shoot mirrorless and don't keep a single lens permanently glued to the camera, you need these. Even if you think you're Indiana Jones with the lens swaps. Simple as.
