If you too have an E46 BMW, I'll save you the trouble of checking. E14 is the correct wrench for the two starter bolts. Some Chinese-made tools are better than others. These are some of the good ones. In fact, they resemble Taiwanese-made tools which I consider high praise. The high polish finish is well done, the steel is strong enough for high torque, the star pattern fit well onto my bolt heads, and the wrenches have slimness to get into tight spaces. After all, if space wasn't tight, wouldn't you be using a socket instead? The only caution I would provide has nothing to do with any deficiencies of the tool itself. Rather, if you have money to burn, get the $$$$ ratcheting wrenches instead. The starter bolts on my car were exceptionally tedious to both loosen and tighten because resetting the wrench dozens of times was necessary. My knuckles paid the price. I should only have to do the starter once, but if I had a single other use case for these wrenches, I would have gone with ratcheting instead.

Got these to work on my BMW 328i had to change out the water pump so you need these to change out the aluminum bolts. Also just recently used them again to change out the starter not a fun job since it is under the intake manifold in the center of the engine. Tools held up and work great

I bought these to get the E12 wrench to remove the lower bolt on a Mercedes S500 W220 model, ac compressor ,worked perfect. Access is very limited and a E12 socket won't get the job done.

I bought this set to assist with a Starter replacement on a BMW 330i and it was missing the size that I needed. So needless to say, I wasn't exactly happy with my purchase. If you are looking to do the same thing, I recommend buying the correct BMW offset tool which was around $55. The tool's that did come in the kit are of decent quality. Delivery was prompt and it was packed well!

Fits in hard to reach spots

Needed Torx wrenches to remove A/C compressor bolts on mother-n-laws mercedes. Could not get the socket in there. This set had the wrench I needed and was reasonably priced. These type wrenches are hard to find and were not available anywhere near me to purchase so I was happy amazon had them and got them shipped to me quickly.

These wrenches were not expensive, but are of good quality. They are essential for working on foreign cars, especially mercedes. They can't right and work well.

I bought these wrenches for one job on my BMW, so I have used one wrench for that one job. It worked great. The tools appear to be of very high quality. They feel nice in the hand. Without a serious test, you can't be sure, but from my inspection, I'd say they are of good quality.

No complaints at all, I mean it’s a pretty basic wrench but using these a couple times as a mechanic I can vogue for these! Worth the price forsure

I bought this for my 2005 Mercedes CLS and has already been of great value. Mercedes decided to use inverted torx bolts for almost everything, so this set is essential in combination with e-torx sockets. Great quality!
