Jet 90015 Stage 1 Module

UPDATE - I have since purchasing the product gotten 16.3 mpg city using premium, and 20.9-22 mpg highway (like driving 600-900 miles straight down 95)I was skeptical at first but I can honestly say within the first 10 minutes of driving there was a noticeable difference in throttle response and transmission shifting. It's undeniably a bit sad that the manufacture doesn't install such an upgrade during the manufacturing process as the cost is minimal in the broad spectrum of buying a vehicle. I own a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 6l with 223,000 miles on it. I'm currently getting 13-14 miles per gallon city with 91 (I justified the cost because I was getting 12-12.5 miles a gallon on 87/89). The install was quick but with everything it's never straight forward. Firstly, one of the plastic clips was dry rot and broke off the black ECM and secondly, the Jet performance modules securing clip didn't line up to the pre existing lip on the ECU so I had to push extremely hard to make that contact right and alight the fastener. I ended up zip-tieing the ECM and Jet module to the ECU... just for precaution. Since driving with the jet module for two days, I've already seen an average increase to 15 miles per gallon. I'll post an update in a few months. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.-For directions, go to jet performance products and look up the item you'd wish to install, scroll down, and download the PDF directions. The directions in the box I got was in cd form... you'd think there'd put a hard copy of the directions in paper. If you have problems Jet Performance tech support is very knowledgeable and are happy to help.

Not noticeable improving in performances...I did not expected very much, but at least something.No problems for installation, very easy.

Noticed more pep and throttle response on second day of driving. My 217k 4.0L averages 16 mpg all day prior to install so we'll see how this goes. I did not remove my ECM to install, just be sure it seats good and I did smear a little gasket sealer on the hairline gap I had once the plug was reinstalled w/ the supplied o-ring. If your a Jeep fiend it's worth trying. I'm running a Rough Country cold air intake but with a throttle body spacer you'd have most of the aftermarket toys the 4.0 needs.

hard to get fully seated in ecm. jeep has much better shift points. about 500 to 800 rpm higher. better throtle response. 2001 wj i6

it seams to be running better, just a little change each day. don't expect big fast changes, the computer is relearning

Did not increase gas mileage at all but it did help with power and mid range torque. I noticed the power and torque increase when driving some of the high mountain passes here in Colorado was able to maintain the speed limits that I was unable to do before installing this module.

But I have had great luck with Amazon Used Items, and so I bought it. When I got it, it had no signs of ever being plugged in and so I installed it and it is working great! I don't know how much HP I have gained, But the Butt Dyno can feel an improvement in response, an increase in torque and I don't know about the mileage yet. It is a very noticeable improvement... would I pay $300? not sure, but at $100 I am smiling.
