XTREME Sour Smarties, 16 Oz

I have loved Smarties since back when I spent whole summers barefoot and shirtless. I believed there was no room left for improvement on their perfect formula. I was wrong.They are not actually "XTREME Sour" candies. I'm a fan of the Atomic Warhead candies. You know: the ones you have to take out of your mouth for a few seconds at a time. The ones that leave your tongue and palate in shreds. These XTREME Sour Smarties are nothing like those.These are just extremely tart. They're like regular Smarties, with the tart turned up to 11. But they're not dimple-making sour. And they still have that pulverizable quality, so you can still scrape a couple of them together against the roof of your mouth and turn them to tangy, powdery drool that runs down the sides of your tongue and opens the endorphin gates.

They're smarties AND they're sour, how can you possibly go wrong? I have this bag sitting on my desk at work and they are by far one of the most popular items in the office. They have the perfect amount of sour that just ups the deliciousness factor of smarties overall. They are not an overpowering sour that would make most people not be able to eat them, but for me, the perfect amount that will make your mouth water just looking at them.

Much better than regular smarties. The door flavor lets you realize the true flavor of this candy. Don't eat too many at once or you'll destroy your taste buds( I learned this the hard way).

I love these but gave it one star because i think I am alergic to some ingredients. Maybe the sour? I ate several when they arrived and the next day my face was completly swollen????

They should stop making regular Smarties and just sell these. Great flavor and just the right sourness/tartness level - much more intense than regular Smarties.

Almost half of what should have been sour smarties was just regular ones, that's not what I ordered. If this was meant to be a mix then this should have been clearly stated. I did not give one star simply because there's a chance this was a mistake, and I don't want to be mean. Unfortunately I did not notice till after id opened and eaten some of the candy, oh well.

Not mouth puckering sour (coming from someone whose favorite candy are ShockTarts, sour Skittles, Warheads, etc) but more tangy than the original Smarties. Dad loves them too! I had to hide my sour Smarties so he wouldn't eat them all. I gave him his own stash for Christmas.

Paid almost $10 for a pound of these, the taste is GREAT...the price...not so much.
