I ordered this he first time it was mentioned by Raymond Arroyo on Fox! I couldn’t wait to get it! Now I have it and can’t wait for my grands to come this weekend! We always do a “theme” Christmas and this year it’s going to be Nephila and her web! This story is wonderful! The story is beautiful written. The artwork is gorgeous! I ordered mine from Amazon and it arrived in perfect condition! (I have a feeling it will be worn somewhat due to being read over and over!). Thank you Mr. Arroyo!

The story is simple and will be easy for young children to understand and the beautifully colored and robust illustrations will delight them. One thing I especially loved: Joseph here is depicted as a young man in his prime., not as an elderly man as in former times. He is bold and strong and protective. And the spider is portrayed as very cute, and his golden web as intricate and precious. A great book to read to your children, or add it to their growing collection; a book to give to friends with kids, or to the kid on your block who will love it. And who knows, the book might go a long way to preventing insect phobias in the little ones who respond to it.

Such a delightful story book...I ordered this for my nephew who hates spiders....this legend shows that spiders are wonderful. Thank you...love you on FOX too

This a beautiful retelling of the flight of Mary, Joseph, and the Infant Jesus to Egypt. There are a couple of additions to the telling of the tale that show Joseph's strong sense of responsibility as the caretaker of Mary and Jesus and some gentle touches that reveal what must certainly have been the character of Our Lady. The illustrations in beautiful color reveal a baby who looks like a real child and not a plaster statue. A wonderful work that will become a holiday tradition for myself and my grandchildren.

Wish there were more stars to give this wonderful book. I have read other spider legends about Christmas but this is by far the best.It touched my heart, I highly recommend it, can’t wait to send one to my grandchildren.

Purchased this book for my three and five year old grand daughter's. Not excited over this story, would have kept it anyways but it alluded to the killing of the babies, stating you could hear their cries, how do you explain that and use of swords and the blood word, so I had to send it back.

Just add grandkids and hot chocolate for a wonderful story! Thanks Raymond!

I have read two of Raymond Arroyo's books and had looked forward to purchasing several copies of this book for the grandchildren for Christmas. While the illustrations were beautiful and the story touching, surprisingly I found it to be poorly written. It could have been 10 pages longer with more development of characters.

I purchased this book, not sure whether it would be "too young" for my grandchildren or not. I read it and was blown away by the beautiful story and pictures. Not only is it appropriate for children...it is such a sweet story, I want to keep it for myself!!😇

This is a very inspiring Christmas story which children and adults alike will enjoy. The illustrations are phenomenal.
