After the first time it popped out, we sent it back (we had to argue with Dermlite to pay for shipping) to have it fixed. A few days after they returned it, IT POPPED OUT AGAIN! This product is extremely poorly engineered and for them to charge a thousand dollars, you'd think they'd have something better than a cheap plastic ring to hold in what appears to be a very expensive magnifying lens.
