Yes they are very thin. I knew that prior to purchasing. Use them to trace around for posters.

We use these to make word walls for my kiddos and we love them!

These are essentially post it notes that will not stay on a poster. Sticky only at the top. I asked for a refund initially because I thought only red (rather than 5 colors) were included because the letters are so thin and the other colors are stacked behind like post it notes. Terrible quality and not at all like the letters I have seen for posters.

The description is not 100% accurate. There is no 'sticky tack adhesive'; these letters are like a post-it note. They fall off easily; we had to tape ours down to get them to stick. They are not thick either; they are flimsy but worked for our project. They just needed extra TLC to get them to stick to our poster paper. Also, you must separate the letters, they are not individually packaged. They tear easily. I probably wouldn't buy them again; I prefer to use thicker stock letters for my projects. Thank you.

What a waste of money. It said “reposition-able peel and stick letters” well they’re regular VERY THIN letters that only have a slightly sticky substance on the very top portion. As you can see by the picture, no amount of pressing is keeping it down.I didn’t give it 1 star only because the font and size are what was described. I wasn’t expecting it to be so thin, almost like Bible pages, and not sticky (which is the entire reason I bought them)! Frustrating indeed.
