Sumsonic COCA+ WiFi HD 1080P 8MP Sports Camera with 145° Wide Angle Lens + 2.4G Remote Controller + Magnetic/Sticky Mounting (Black)

Fun little camera to play with. Takes good video and still pictures. Two problems I found, one is with the cover on the bottom of the camera to charge the camera and install the card. I was unable to get the cover back on. The grooves in the cover seem ok, it appears the nubs on the camera will not catch so cover locks in place. Also the book says light will go out when camera is fully charged but mine did not, although app shows camera is charged. The app works good, I left the camera on to see how long the charge would last when recording video, and got 30+ minutes. I give this camera 4 stars, might have given it 5 stars except for the 2 problems I mentioned above.

Love the picture and has easy instructions, picture video button broke ,But I ordered another one, I think I just got bad one first.Great little cam for money

It's just a toy, not sure what it is good for. Kinda works with the iphone app but is difficult to use. definitely not meant as a true sports action camera in any sense . Spend your money on a better cam.

There is no way to run the app with my Samsung S6. The instruction manual is poor. I never answered questions

The one I got has a 20 minute battery life. Unfortunately this company wants me to video the video thing, not working, do I sound like a liar? I'm pretty sure that the reason for the question was, that if the ad shows kids recording themselves ,skateboarding in an empty pool, they must be using battery power., and I can't record for 5 minutes without losing 1 of 3 bars. They said that their tech reports 85 hours of continuous use. Yea now that we know it is defective they aren't exactly using to make it right. Have a feeling it's going into the idiot pos drawer, that we all know. Cheers

First it wouldn't power down. Then it will not connect to wifi. Got it to work one time, 16gb card only recorded 1:56 then powered down and again no wifi. Charged overnight and my charging light never went out like they say it should. Unit gets pretty hot even running only for 2 minutes.What video I got looked good, so if you get LUCKY and get a working unit could be a lot of fun. Mine sucks will return or trash depending on how much they want to charge me to return unit.All I can say is good luck and there are better camera out there for this price.So update number 1, I put a scandisk sdcard in instead of a Kingston and looks like unit might work. Will be testing it tomorrow and we will see.Still after 3 hours charging my charging I still have light, it is not turning off like they say. I will leave it charge longer and see.off.SO it took over 5 hours to charge the battery fully. The battery lasted for me recording at the highest level 1 hour. I do have the unit at least working now.1. Make sure to use a Scan disk micro sd card. I was able to even put a 64gb in and it worked.2. expect charging to take longer then the 3 hours they say.3. make sure when you connect to your tablet or phone... that you first go into wireless and connect to the camera then go into the Ishare camera software or what ever software you choose to use.The video quality is pretty good, not great on playback.The microphone is not great at all.The unit Gets very hot almost to hot to touch after recording. I recorded 1 hour straight to test battery out.I got this unit at a discounted price and so I can say I guess it is OK for the price.I have to say gotobuy has good customer service and answers my questions.

This camera has great potential w/ the 1080p 30fps recording, 20mp photos, 145 degree wide angle and free app for controlling the camera. However it just falls short on so many levels its hard to recommend it versus whats available in the same price range. The app needs a ton of work to allow obvious changes you should be able to make like MOV format or MP4. Another change that it needs is to remove the time stamp from the video. Changes the camera itself needs is a stronger hinge allowing you to move the camera when its fixed to something and it stay in that position. Right now it just flops around and really holds no position except flat against the backing. The mic is also terrible and needs work. The camera even with its mediocre video quality has the potential to be a handy little grab and go camera but fails due to some simple improvements that should've been address upon release. I was only able to show the basics in detail on this vid and the quality is diluted to meet Amazons video uploading requirements. If you wanna see the true quality of this camera and waaaaay more detail search Isaiah's Reviews on that one video site and watch the full review. If the app makes drastic changes to improve this camera I will change this review accordingly. Thanks!
