School is going to open soon in September and they have announced that all students must be measured for fever before sending them on the school bus every day.I got this so we can quickly measure the temperature of our 3 children in the morning while they are getting ready for school. Based on my testing, it's very quick and accurate.It comes with 2 AAA batteries so it's immediately ready to use. It also comes with soft pouch for storing it when not in use. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a need to measure forehead temperatures quick and easy.

love the big numbers to read the temperature. Even does a double beep and the screen changes from green to yellow or red if temperature is elevated. Easy to put together (basically just put the batteries in and you're done). It took a bit of playing around, but once you get it down, it very accurate. Heres what I have found:Brush any hair away from area to read. Hold the device about 0.5-1 inch away from temple of head (flat part of face just to the side of the eye). Push the button on the device once, no need to hold button at all. With 2 seconds, reading is determined. To verify reading, keep device in same position and push button again. Because its so fast, I do this 3 times to verify reading.This is definitely a must if you have small children or toddlers who don't sit for too long or wiggle.

Most of these thermoscans have to be really close to the forehead. If you can keep that in mind you should be good to go. Give people a little time to acclimate to the room...don’t take a reading right from the bus stop or from the car...you’ll see a lot of 97s...but give them a couple seconds to warm up or cool down. I’ve been pleased with my volleyball players standing in the foyer for a min or two before they get scanned and I get pretty sufficient readings

I'm very sad to say that although it looks and feels like quality, it is not at all accurate. Even if you really have a fever, it never shows you as more than 98 degrees, and the other thermometer I bought shows 100.4. In my opinion, it's actually rather dangerous to use, as you might overlook a serious illness because you believe a faulty thermometer.

Due to the year 2020's state, I decided I needed to upgrade my old thermometer. There are many places that require temperature checks before entering. I have known 3 people who have had no symptoms except a very low fever who tested positive for the Corona virus. So I keep this on hand to check mine and my husband's if there is any question on our health status. It is very easy to use, was a great price and is accurate. It gets the job done.

I think I got a return. The bottom of the box was open and the sound alarm does not work. The unit itself is fine, fast. Not sure about accuracy. For those having issues with it reading Lo you have to push the button AFTER pointing it towards your forehead. I would return it because I don’t think it’s fresh out of the box but I live 40 miles from town and would have to go to the library to print out a label.

The thermometer is easy to use and the large, bright screen makes it very easy to read the numbers. It registers a temperature without contact in less than a second. It has an audible "beep" to indicate that a temperature reading has occurred. The beep can be muted by the push of a button. My only minor complaint is that the "beep" is of a high frequency and not very loud, and many people, particularly the elderly, whose hearing may be slightly compromised are unable to hear the beep even with their hearing aids turned on loud. It would help if there was a volume adjustment on the thermometer or lower the frequency. But, being able to hear the beep, or not, in no way diminishes the usefulness and accuracy of the main purpose of the device which is to record a temperature. i recommend the product.

I ordered this device for use with my family and my church. I needed a thermometer that would be touchless and not require the removal of masks. It is very user friendly - I was able to use it immediately without having to read the instructions. The design is very intuitive. Three buttons handle all of the functions. I have been using it for over a week now and it is performing above my expectations. I have found it to be quick and accurate.The package included the thermometer, a carrying case, batteries, and an instruction manual. The instruction manual is easy to read and understand.
