These were purchased in order to have the physical suture needed for an appropriate wound. As a retired, General Surgeon, I feel the need to do more in the appropriate setting. I am putting together a BOB that suits my needs. Your sutures will be a part of that bag.

THIS ITEM WILL COMPLETE MY EMERGENCY SURVIVAL MEDICAL KIT. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS ITEM FOR SOME TIME. Your product is very convenient and will complement any emergency kit in a major medical survival situation. By providing both items together , it saves time and provides a clean and and ready made solution to an emergency needing a suture or two.

These sutures were exactly as advertised. They must be sold as practice sutures for legal purposes, but these are the real thing. I am a kayaker and bicycle rider and these are in my emergency kit, Have used them once already.

The tips of the scissors do not come to a complete close to finish a cut and the tweezers do not easily grab the sutures, it takes several tries. Not adequate for a professional but ok for practice.

Bought to fill in gaps in trauma med kit for Disaster Preparedness Kit. Do not attempt to use for 1st Aid without proper training. Vacuum seal for storage prior to use. Good value for price point.

I have these in my first aid kit for times when you are too remote to get to a medical facility.
