Jet black, zips up and a warranty? (Updated 3/2017)
(updated 3-2017)The wallet has seen its wear and tear. The zipper track is torn and the wallet will still zip, but not without some work. I tried to reach out for support because it was under "warranty" but I am unsure if the price point for a wallet that hasn't lasted a year that has already torn is worth investing it. No response. So I will have to lower the rating to reflect the customer service/durability.So After a good five years of having a great wallet (for a great TV show back in my day, don't hate.) , the wear and tear began to show itself and the wallet was beginning to fall apart. So it was time for something new. I had some issues with stuff falling out of my old wallet, so when I seen that this one had a zipper and a rugged material I instantly leaned towards it. I tried looking at other wallets with similar design and the reviews were OK. But the insides just reminded me too much of my old wallet and I really wanted something different. So looking at the price makes you think it through. 40 bucks is a good chunk of change, but the trade off is that you have something that can zip up and protect the contents from the elements or falling out. Which I work around flour and crumbs and food particles, so I was tired of finding it with my drivers license and credit cards. Many reviews like to talk about how hard it is to put in your back pocket, the zipper poking you and such. So I put on my jeans and slid it in. Sat down on different surfaces (wood, steel, end of a bed) and it isn't bad at all. Maybe some getting used to, more like. The other issue that comes up is size. Now, this is a bit bigger, but based on reviews, it sounded like people tried to compare a CD case to a standard issue leather wallet. With this exaggeration that the wallet was this huge bulky thing. But it is a bit bigger, but it doesn't hinder putting it in a back pocket or the standard storage place I would put it in. So I put up some side by sides to show the differences in size. Let you judge it for yourself.Jet black color. Cool dark color. A step down from the blue and animated one I had. I just wanted to go back to something more simple and less flashy.Next is space. There is a good amount of space. Two hidden slots. Two money slots. Four main slots plus the fifth being the window slot for a DL or ID. The biggest concern a person could have with this is that you can MAYBE get three things in per slot before its snug and cannot take more. Which I'd rather have the snug feeling that looseness that my other wallet had. Besides, it makes you go through your stuff and keep what cards you need and others you don't. Think of it like spring cleaning for your wallet. We all got junk in there somewhere.Security. The RFID blocking. Don't have the tools to test it, but I just started to get chip cards from my bank. Didn't have them before. So of course, stealing your info via RFID is a real thing. Its just an added peace of mind.Last item is warranty. Maybe this is the part where I figured the 40 dollar price tag was worth it, was that if the wallet doesn't stand up to normal use, then you can get a replacement. Of course, that term may vary after some years, but I am hoping this purchase lasts me a long time. 10 years maybe?

A High Quality Zipper Wallet
This wallet was well crafted and what I have found was that it was crafted with quality materials. The outside of the wallet is constructed of Nylon 210D Rip-stops. Upon a very close inspection of the Nylon, it appears that the fibers are woven very tightly together which in this case makes it water resistant. The inside of the wallet is constructed of this type of dense fiber material that is stiff and rigid, which makes it more durable and longer lasting than typical leather. The zipper on the wallet opens and closes quite smoothly and keeps the contents in the wallet from falling out. The stitching on the wallet from the outside to the inside was done extremely well and precise too, at least on the second one that I had received. The first wallet I received had a very tiny almost unnoticeable misaligned stitching on the the bottom right corner of the logo on the outside of the wallet. I only notice it upon a very close inspection but other than that cosmetic defect, the rest of the wallet is very well crafted. When I reached out to the company to make a warranty claim, they were able to respond within hours and offered their services to me. It was a discount to purchase my second wallet and returned the defective one. So far, I think that their customer service was pretty much on point in terms of speed and service; if they keep it up, I think more customers are sure to come. For the construction of the wallet itself, the choice of materials was great, I liked that they chose to use quality materials that is more durable than typical leather. The craftsmanship of the wallet was also on point; I liked how precise the stitching on the wallet was done both outside and inside. The packaging of the wallet came wrapped in plastic inside of a gift box, which was nice. Overall, this is an affordable high quality zipper wallet and is probably the best zipper wallet on the market thus far when compared to other brands of zipper wallets.

Plenty of room, but does it do what it claims...
I carry too much stuff in my wallet - I know it - Business cards, credit cards, ID, receipts, and one or two photos. Maybe someday I can get one of the "smallets" that other guys use.On the plus side, this wallet it is pretty roomy compared with similar wallets that zip closed. So I was able to get most everything from my previous wallet in this one. It is wider than a standard wallet, and I keep in a front pants pocket, so it is a bit of a struggle to get to it, especially from a sitting position.I can't vouch for its ability to attenuate RF signals. I have an RFID key pass for my office, which I also keep in the wallet. To my surprise, I was able to gain access to my building without the need to remove the pass from the wallet. It may be the case that the wallet provides sufficient attenuation to prevent credit card scanners and hackers from accessing information, but clearly at short distances (<6 inches) from a source, RF signals can penetrate the material.Overall, I like the wallet, but can't state whether or not the protection being advertised to block RFID scanners will actually manifest. In reading the instructions that came with it, I also took exception to the manufacturer's request to rate it 4 or 5 stars on Amazon, or call them before you post a lower rating. Self-serving requests such as that don't appeal to me.

Gives a greater level of security
I purchased the original one for living in Panama three years ago. I even accidentely washed it (it wasn't closed). Not totally waterproof (in my opinion) but slows transfer long enough under normal conditions.I got tired of trying to put cards back into sleeves for protection from data theft (a friend lost money to a scan theft) and decided that overall security was warranted. So far so good.I used to use only leather, but nylon stands up much better in hot tropical climates. Finally after daily use the zipper came off and I couldn't figure how to replace (for the cost) it. I gave the original to my grandson and he is using it still. If this one doesn't hold up as well I will update this review.
