Beautiful Deck!
Thank you for the wonderful new deck. It is just like I remember it. :)

Nice, moderately dark deck
You can see pictures of the cards on a number of tarot deck websites, so I won't spend a lot of time on them here. If you're an art deck collector, this is probably already on your LustList. If not, you want to know how it *reads*.First, there's no nudity in this deck, which to many readers who read at public fairs, is a huge relief. (The Lovers are semi-nude, but tastefully photoshopped). It's a darkish deck--moons appear in every card--but the overall tone is not particularly shadowy or bleak to me, as many 'darker' decks are. The symbolism is strongly reliant on RWS, so owners of other 'standard' decks can probably jump right in with readings. Some differences exist--the Hanged Man, for example, has both legs straight instead of the standard 'figure four', the Devil doesn't have a scary guy with horns--but all in all your RWS deck skills will transfer pretty seamlessly. Many symbols repeat throughout the deck, like waterfalls and ravens, that are not standard, but do lead to fascinating connections in a more intuitive-style reading. The deck is heavily female--in case the big PINK box it comes in doesn't give that away. It features women more than men in the cards themselves--the swords suit, for example, is almost entirely female. The book it comes with is nice--not the LWB, but a paperback glossy covered affair. The explanations for each card are solid, and not very 'out there' or far from standard interpretations. The real treasure of the book comes in the 'use your intuition' questions for each card. This is my first photo-collage deck, and I like it a lot more than I'd expected. I'd hoped it would be a bit more androgynous in appeal and pictures. But I can't fault a deck that gives good, solid readings and pushes a reader or a tarot-meditator to further their intuitive skills.

Disappointed.
On first sight this deck promises so much. Ambiguous atmospheres, luminous misty colours, all giving a sense of falling through a shifting dreamworld. Truly a Mystic Dreamer's journey through the tarot. Even the clunky bits (the same ubiquitous moon-face, the people that are awkwardly stuck on or mismatched and out of scale) seem to add to the sense of dreamy otherness. But with each closer look I've become more disappointed. There are, for my liking, too many of these quirks and they devalue what might otherwise have been a unique and stunning deck.My main quibble is with the people images. Too many of them look like they wandered in from the same gothic rave party and lost themselves in the landscape. The young man on the Two of Cups looks like a long-haired, pudgy version of Michelangelo's 'David' - yuk. The Lovers cling to each other unsteadily on what must be stilts and the background trees look like they've been nuked. None of the Kings convey anything of their description in the book. They appear too young to bear their title, with their crowns clumsily stuck on. More than that, they look bored, disheveled and impatient to get back to the party. The Queen of Wands is anything but regal. All in all, the Court Cards are the weakest part of the deck. There are exceptions to my critique: the Fool, the Emperor, the six of Cups, Wheel of Fortune, Judgement, the High Priestess and Empress all show up well, to my eyes. I like the ragged-looking borders. The accompanying book by Barbara Moore goes a long way in untangling some meanings from this deck, meanings that could be used in interpretation. With a bit more attention to detail and critical direction during its creation, this might have been a five-star deck. I'll be keeping it though, just for the parts that sustain the promise of my first viewing.

I really like this deck
I really like this deck, but I understand what about reviewer was saying about the artwork though. There's a lot of blurring, some images don't blend well together, etc. All in all if you really prefer nice and neat artwork, especially if you are a professional graphic artist, you may find this to be too much of a distraction. Thankfully I can look past it (though I do find myself mentally *fixing* the images) enough to see the beauty that is behind the art. The ONLY problem I truly have with this deck is the cardstock. It's so thin I am hesitant to even call it that, it's more like slightly thick paper with a glossy coat. Sadly because of that I don't see this deck standing up to long term use but if you only read occasionally or have it in a rotation with other decks it should be okay. I love the *feel* of the deck though and I can't wait to use it more.

My favorite deck ever.
This deck resonates with me very deeply. I'm drawn into the images, feeling as if I too am walking in a dream. The artwork is amazing and readings I do with this are very accurate and deep. The card stock is standard Llewellyn stock these days, so it's thin and easy to shuffle, but I plan on getting another copy (or two) before it goes out of print since this is my favorite deck ever by far! I also love the fact that the backs are fully reversible since the image is the same in both directions. I like the golden parchment borders too, as it's like looking out a window at a dreamscape, and I love the fact that many of the traditionally male characters are female. This is a very feminine deck and opens the intuition wide with great details to jump out and enhance your readings. This deck also comes with a companion book by Barbara Moore that is very well-written. Her meanings for the cards, including the Major Arcana, are concise and easy to understand, and they make sense, going well with the imagery. I love the fact that she matched the dreamy and intuitive theme by giving intuition exercises and dream journaling guidelines.

Tarot para colección
Las cartas son preciosas, vienen en una caja dura y el libro es en inglés. Le pongo 4 estrellas porque son un poco finas para mi gusto. Pero muy contenta con la compra.

A Very Enjoyable, Slightly Quirkly Deck
I like this slightly quirky deck a lot. There is much to look at and the imagery really engages you and the borders continue the feel of the artwork without standing out. I have never been one for lots of detail and haven't scrutinised every card of this deck (yet) but I do know that the imagery, on the most, part coincides with the Rider-Waite, and provides an expanded and inspiring feel. It is dream-like and takes you away from the mundane whilst you read and provides you with new insights without having to think to much. It's good for beginners, but not as obvious as the Rider-Waite deck, although it does contain most of the Rider-Waite elements.I think that the point people might complain about, is the perspective of the cards, in that the figures, and the backgrounds don't seem to be relative to each other but you can see everything going on in the cards very clearly and I think the wonky perspective is what gives this deck its charm and edge. Sometimes you can overlook the imagery, because you know the meaning in your head, but this deck makes you to look a little closer and its very enjoyable doing so!The cards are standard sized, not too thin or thick and with a thin light laminate. Box with book and organza bag to put the cards in.

Great Energy and Fantastic Detailed Book
If you're new to tarot, the book that comes along with the cards is a great guide! It has a lot of spreads to help learn the system. The cards themselves have great energy and I had cards flying out of the deck when I first shuffled them - unusual because it's not over-sized and fits perfectly in the hand. The cards themselves have great energy - the cards which show up are so appropriate, and they also allow for intuitive readings since there's a good amount of detailing in the cards. Overall, love them.

比較にはいい
英語版だけど絵柄とか独特で面白い。何故この絵になったのかと見てみるのも楽しい。カードが薄いので星一つ減かな
