We needed a heavy duty piano hinge to hold a large door on a storage shed. The item description on line, led us to believe this hinge was what we needed. This hinge is thin and flimsey and will not open all the way. Because we needed to finish and close in the shed, we were forced to use this hinge anyway.By using all of the screw holes with heavy duty screws and exposing one side of the hinge to the weather, we were able to jerry rig it to hold the door. The main problem now is the door will not open all the way.

Did the job for me very well. Easy to install, kept its correct alignment on install and during use, and has been strong enough.

This is a nice hinge - finish, weight, mechanics all very nice. Supports and swings a 20 LB framed mirror extremely well. Would have rated higher, but as noted in other reviews, came shipped in a standard cardboard carton, without any internal protective packaging. Hinge arrived bent in a couple places that needed to be worked on and lubricated. Long term effects will need to be determined, but for now, seems to be OK. Buyer beware.
