Firstly, i did next day delivery as im abit impatient :-)The item comes well boxed, as for the unit, it is solid, heavy and metal. Without doing anything but just holding it in my hand I just knew it was very well made, just prayed it wouldn't disappoint when its up and running.After no more then 5 minutes, I had it up and running with 128GB SD card. I'm already using CamHi app for another security cam im using, so that saved a few moments of having to download it.After messing around with the settings and getting it just how I wanted, all I can say is I AM BLOWN AWAY by the picture quality, functionality of it all. I live in a block of flats on the 2nd floor, and the sound it picks up is second to none, i can hear peoples conversation loud and very clear, and they are talking just normal.It focuses very quickly when you pan around, and the zoom...well it has an excellent zoom, and even better, once you've zoomed all the way in, you can zoom even further by using two fingers to get even closer, and the picture is CRYSTAL CLEAR. I am NOT exaggerating here, you gotta see it for yourself if you dont believe me.Still, I was waiting for night, to see how it would perform then!Night came, and in all honesty, I don't need to use night vision, I have it on colour because it is extremely bright and so very damn clear. I am just so so impressed by this, truly, I am blown away with the crystal clear quality images, day or night! I don't care what you say or how much more the other security cams may be, i find it impossible that they can offer you better picture quality then this. Maybe other features, but this has it all that you need for a security cam and more then you need.I have it on motion detection, but the plus benefit is that it also has humanoid detection, so it will only detect humans, instead of it always going off with the tiniest bug or leaves moving in the wind, or even something you have no idea what it has set it off.It also has intelligent tracking, where it will just follow the human wherever they go till they are out of reach. You can also have it set where the human is framed, which i dont use. What i was really pleased with on top of everything else is when you have it set to a certain position, after following the human automatically when it detects them, it will automatically go back to that position again. For the 3rd time, i am just blown away by it all, i am so so pleased with this purchase. Seriously, if your serious about your security cam, save your money and get this, i promise you, you will NOT be disappointed. If this cam doesn't impress you, then there has to be something wrong with you. One extremely happy and very satisfied customer 😃👍

The cable is ridiculously short. Even shorter than the wall thickness - less than 40cm! 🙈Totally unacceptable length. Very bad, not to say idiotic idea for the length of the cable.

The image quality is really good, the tracking of people in this model is a nice addition compared to the lesser models. Setup and online access is nice and straightforward with the app if you don't have a DVR.This one replaced one of my other SV3C models which had been in the same location for a couple of years as I wanted the people tracking in this location.I have 5 of the slightly lower spec version of this camera which have been running for a few years without any issues at all. I have had this model for just over a year and it started to get condensation on the lens along with losing the ability to go up and down. Not due to rain but temperature changes as I could see from the recording it gradually built up with no rainfall. I guess a seal has gone for this to happen or it would have happened a long time before.I thought I would contact them on the off chance I might be able to resolve the problem. After the support verified the camera (logged in remotely) to confirm that it was indeed faulty they sent out a replacement. Very happy with how they handled the fault and would highly recommend them based on service and quality.

Good camera so far. WiFi reception is excellent and the picture quality is superb. The only negative is that the camera played a very loud chime when I first powered it on, which terrified me and my cats!I'm using the camera via Onvif with Synology Surveillance station (SS), and it works well so far. The only shame is that it doesn't seem possible to edit presets via SS. But that's a minor glitch and I found I could do it easily via the HiCam app.Pleased so far!

The camera was easy to setup and get connected including the phone app. You can manually save pictures to the FTP and save pictures to a micro memory card but it will NOT save motion alert picture/recording to a network hard drive using the FTP feature in the camera software. If you are running the camera on a router using 2.4g-5g. Even using cable to connect the camera will not work. This camera will only run on 2.4g router if you want to use the FTP feature in the software. Very disappointed with the camera considering the cost. What it should say in the information "will not work with a dual band router" It will only work with a single band 2.4g router.

Was dubious buying a security camera at this price having cameras at my works which were more expensive and in my eyes not very good. This camera is amazing, easy enough to set up with lots of features you would find in high end units. The tracking feature I love, the pictures are crisp and clear and the auto focus does a good job.I am extremely pleased with the unit and would definitely recommend to others, and will be purchasing more in the future.

Easy to install, 4 screw. Works with Synology just change the codec to 264 to get it to display. Power lead too short for me. The leads don't detach from the camera so you have to make a big hole to get them through. Picture quality looks good and I'll have to update to let you know more. I've had the camera for 1 day and just this second installed it.

Required all sorts of unnecessary app permissions in order to get the camera registered, camera never came online despite following instructions to the letter (and then trying a number of alternatives) so couldn't test any of the features. The hard reset button made a familiar Windows start-up sound from well over a decade ago so I can only assume it runs Windows CE or other outdated Microsoft embedded OS, which I would suspect to not be the most secure platform. The unit seems physically well-built, but let down by the poor software. Returned, and looking for a better model.
