Props to iVUE. These are solid video glasses.
So overall, these iVUE video glasses are a great idea. They're very easy to use. Just hold the power button, and then they turn on and automatically begin recording. The POV is very close to what the user expects because of the near-eye level lens. The build quality on these glasses seems very sturdy. You'd probably have to step on them to break them. The phone app and built in WiFi allow you to preview what you're seeing, which is great. I hope they add a streaming functionality so I can use them at events. The battery lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on if you're using the WiFi feature or not. I also liked the hard case they included.Additionally, the glasses that were shipped to me contained the updated firmware that allows you to change between 3, 5, and 8 minute recording intervals. I immediately put this up to 8 minutes, and I recommend you do the same. The video glasses will automatically start recording a new file after each interval ends. The 1080p30 setting records .MOV wrapped H.264 codec files at about 12-13Mbps. While this is a sufficient bitrate, particularly because a 32GB microSD card records around 5.5 hours of 1080p video at this setting, it likely won't hold up to significant color grading. Additionally, it's important to note that the 1080p30 setting records 30.00FPS, not 29.97FPS, which is the NTSC standard. This hasn't caused me any issues on an NTSC timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015, but I was forced to deducted a single star because of the non-NTSC framerate. I have not tested the glasses on the 720p60 setting, although I suspect it records non-NTSC 60.00FPS rather than 59.94FPS.So do I recommend the iVUE Horizon Pro 1080p video glasses? Absolutely. They are easily the best choice for you to use. My father is actively using them to gather POV footage while hiking the Himalayan mountains. This is a quality product, props to you iVUE.

You got to wonder though...
Camera glasses. This device is okay, and it has good video quality; but you got to wonder what's the point, if you can't charge this device while you're using it, or you can't put in another battery, don't you? I mean really. They even offer a power bank for thirty-nine dollars. What for?

Battery would last 20 seconds in 3 months after only 2 use
This is a pair of an extremely expensive disposable camera glasses, at least for me.Bought this on August 29th, 2016 at Amazon, used it only once at an end of summer outing. Left it aside for slightly over 2 months. Tried to use it again in an overseas trip in November, the battery wouldn't even last 20 seconds at the end of the trip. This is a pair a junk glasses. More like a scam selling at this price! I want my money back!

Probably equal to or better than much more expensive DVR sunglasses
UPDATE 03/27/2017I'm knocking down my rating from 5 to 3. I have never been able to set the date/time using the manual. I was able to initially set the Date/Time using the IVUE app, but I have not been able to adjust it for daylight savings time. The folks at Teton Webstores put very little effort into customer service and their cryptic responses are not helpful. I have six pair of video recording glasses including a Horizon 1080, but this Horizon Pro 1080 is the first one for which I've been unable to set the date/time manually. The WiFi app is flakey.I've previously owned several pair of the IVUE video recording sunglasses. This one is more stealthy, but a bit heavier with full frames. The resolution and color are excellent, probably the best of any video recording sunglasses.ORIGINAL POSTThere are a number of options that can be set using a computer. Muting the audio is not one of them on this particular IVUE. WIFI is included and works okay. Getting my android to pair with the glasses took some trial and error, but I was able to view live recording on my smartphone and also previously recorded videos. It is very easy to set the time with WIFI and it is accurate to the second. There is one basic flaw with this type of recording sunglasses and that is battery life. It starts out fine giving 90 minutes of recording on a full charge, but 6 months down the road recording time drops to 20 minutes or less. I hope IVUE has fixed that problem.Insurance is offered with this device and might be a good investment.

Super Duper
Super Duper cool. The glasses stopped working after purchase in October 2016. Sticking with IVUE. Great video glasses to last that long.

though not deserving of a perfect 5 star rating
Quality product, though not deserving of a perfect 5 star rating. Would like to do a video review in the future....

Need more than 3 minute video files!
So I purchased these nice looking glasses only to find out I'm being restricted to only 3 minute video files. Even though the manual CLEARLY says it records 25 minute interval videos files, creating a new video file every 25 minutes. NOT THE CASE. If I'm gonna pay close to $200 for a product that is going to restrict me on the size of video file I can record, then I don't want them. If you don't mind the 3 minute interval then these record well. I only had them for a few days but the clarity on the videos are nice. Rating it 2 stars because of the restriction on video recording. Makes editing and watching videos annoying.
