I had an older plastic one and decided that it was time to get a more sturdy one since we love pineapple. We do many things with our pineapple slices and the shell - slices: eat as is, dehydrate it for delicious snacks, drink the delicious juice; shell: cut up the slices, mix with other delectable fruits like strawberries and some torn mint leaves if you have them; use the shell for a fancy drink cup with rum or whatever is to your liking, sit down with a long straw in a comfy chair - life is good. THIS PRODUCT makes all these things easy and possible with just a few twists of the handle. Yay!

I received my Magikuchen corer right on time. I was skeptical it would work, but it worked like a charm. Cut the top off the pineapple, inserted the corer, twist it down and you pull it straight out to a stack of pineapple rings. The only thing that I didn't like and there is probably no way to remedy it, I had a very plump pineapple and there was still a lot of pineapple left on the shell. It was no problem removing it and I will continue using the corer and deal with that problem if it occurs again. It really worked well.

I have the old-style pineapple corer, which worked well in the beginning, but the serrated cutting blade dulled over time. So I ordered this one almost a year ago and waited to review it to see how it held up comparatively. Much, much better. Very easy to assemble and clean, requires a bit of wrist action to use it, but I have found cutting the pineapple in half horizontally works best for me. I am 68 years old and not as strong as I used to be, so I put the cut side face up on a plate and drill thru to the bottom, then I drink the juice. Nice slices.

I bought a plastic pineapple cutter from the grocery store which broke the very first time I used it. I was still able to use it but about the third time it finally broke which caused a piece of plastic to become lodged in my fruit. I immediately got on amazon to find a metal cutter which could hold up to the job. I've now used it over five times and it has worked perfectly. Best part was it was only $2 more than the cheap plastic one I originally bought. Definitely recommend the product.

This is an amazing product. I would never buy fresh pineapple for fear of cutting myself trying to peel and core it. This makes it so easy and the best part is there is no mess as the juice stays in the pineapple. It perfectly cores and slices st the same time like magic. I now can make pineapple fajitas with fresh pineapple then cut the remaining pinapple in half to serve it just like they do in my favorite Mexican restaurant. I am so glad I took a chance on this product.

This was so easy to use! I am thrilled to finally have one of these and not have to cut off the rind of pineapple anymore (I never REALLY get all of it anyway). Instead of avoiding buying pineapples due to the mess I make, I will buy two at a time now. Pineapple for everyone, every day! WOOT! Thanks for making my life easier.

When I first got this I was very skeptical that it would be big enough to get the most of my pineapple meat when I used it. I was so skeptical I considered returning it without even using it.Nonetheless, I gave it a shot. WOW!On a Costco sized pineapple. I cut the top, ALIGNED the core cylinder so it was centered around the pineapple core. I gave it light pressure and just kept turning it. The entire process took about a minute!! The hardest part was pulling the Cutter with the pineapple out of the husk. It created a suction and took a little working, but again. People! ONE MINUTE.Remove the black handle and drop the pineapple spiral on your cutting board and I quartered the ring in two slices and had perfectly cut pineapple pieces. There wasn't that much pineapple meat left, not enough to bother with anyway. I dropped some rum in the husk and had myself a pretty awesome cocktail with fresh pineapple juice as a treat.The only negative I can say about this is that the spiral cutter cuts the slices a little thin for my taste. I like much bigger chunks, but it works great for my toddler and I can work with the smaller bites!

Replaced a plastic model, which broke, with this one. Its a night & day difference. This cutter is solid, sharp & sturdy. The handle is ergonomically designed and has no give were it connects to the cutter it self. After cutting the pineapple its easier to remove from the pine apple compared to my previous plastic one. Absolutely a must have for all the serious pineapple lovers.
