So far this lighter has been working great. Looks and feels good. Very reliable. Only wish is that they would do something to color the flame so you can see it in daylight.

Simply put:A bad experience with this article,never worked.It is true that it is a reliable brand based on previous items that I own but not this item/model in my case.

Best lighter I've ever bought.

Initially woukd not ignite gas without 3, 4, or 5 clicks of the button. After one week of this it completely stopped working.

This is marketed as a soft flame lighter. I think it is not. Not in the sense of a Bic soft flame or in the cheap 30 dollar soft flame cigar lighter I have. This is still a torch lighter, and unless I set it to its very lowest setting, does it resemble anything like a soft(er) flame. It's impossible to replicate a nice soft flame with this lighter and the control does not have enough bandwidth in the sweet spot. Turn it too low, it doesn't light at all, a tiny bit too high and it's a torch again, leaving a VERY narrow spot to get a flame anywhere close to what I thought I was buying. Marketing BS! Beware!
