Two worked great
I started tightening my belt tensioner with a homemade tool but couldn’t get tight enough. When tool arrived I re tightened pulley and it worked just perfectly using 1/4 ratchet making it tight and easy to use.

Works great when you follow the shop manuals.
Worked great. The problem that people are having with the pins shearing off is because they're trying to apply the main bolt torque to this item. This is only used to hold the pulley in place with 7 ftlbs of torgue, while the main bolt is torqued to the final higher setting.

This tool is a must for doing a timing belt on a Mitsubishi 2.5L V6 engine.

Not OEM Equivalent; Failed on full torque !!!
Similar to OEM tool but metal is just too soft to handle 30-40 ft-lbs torque needed for timing belt preload.Tried to repair it several times to finish the job to no avail.Bought a second one with similar issues.

Saves time
It's a good tool to set Mitsubishi V6 timing belt tension. I don't know how other reviewers are snapping off the pins. As per Mitsubishi service data the tension is properly set using a torque wrench to 39 INCH pounds which isn't very much.

Pins are not tempered, break below required torque
Item fits perfectly, but pin broke before reaching correct torque. Mechanic drilled out the broken pin and replaced by press fitting chuck end of another drill bit. Got the job done but cost me another 30 minutes labor. Tried to contact seller for resolution on price but not an option through Amazon. Very disappointing experience, but do have a tool that will do the job in the future, even if it takes another repair and drill bit.Not worth the price.
