Love these mitts. Fits left and right hands (never even considered that before). Anyone can use and you can get more life out of them. Heat protection on back of hand and palms. Comfy and think material. Easy to grip things.

This is my second set of these pot holders and they're great. They're good quality, thick, and work well when I'm taking things out of the oven. I like that they're easy to slide on and give me plenty of 'gripping' power. I don't ever feel like dishes are sliding out of my hands. Also, I just toss them in the washer and they come out good as new.

I bought a set like this from bed and bath 20 years ago. the perfect holders. flexable and strong. I have looked for years for a set that is as good.the search is over! flexible, heat proof and run through the wash tough and will last 15 years.i tried other brands.the grey turned out to be brown grey.. my only disappointment.

These are a great size and very heat resistance. I have some hot pads that only work for about 5 seconds before burning your hand. I could hold a hot tray for minutes without a burn. They work well with hand pouch or without. They are nice and thick.

THE PERFECT SIZE AND SHAPE - LIKE COMBO POTHOLDERS AND OVEN MITTS - A little larger than standard potholders, these are pretty and compact. They fit on top of the utensils in my drawer. I have been baking cookies this weekend, and they fully protected my hands from the oven's heat and the hot cookie sheets. They have silicone strips on the outside so dishes, bowls, and pans won't slip out of your hands (convenient when removing bowls from the microwave). Each one has a small divider on the inside bottom, so they work almost like gloves, and you can grasp things -- but they are quick to put on and take off. I love them so much that I bought a second set as a gift.

I found the bigger oven mitts on a "Best of" list. Didn't want such large mitts, so I tried these pads. They hit all the right targets you are looking for: heat resistant, sturdy but flexible, easy to grip (with a rubbery striped side - not smooth slippery fabric where you grab your pots) and the color is festive and happy. Love them and they would make nice gifts as well.

I was glad to find these potholders with the silicone on one side, as mine had seen better days, to put it mildly. I bought in three different colors. They wash up well, and are very easy to use, either with your hand slid inside like a mitten or just holding onto them. They're not so thick that you can't get a good grasp on whatever you're taking out of the oven.

They are well made, American made, durable, comfortable, and they do a great job. Highly recommend them. This is my second time ordering them only because I accidentally burned them on my gas stove. My mistake, but I love them. I find them so much better in price and quality than the other place that rhymes with Jilliam Ponoma.

My first pair of Big Red House pot holders are red in colour. The first purchase was based on survey review and is also a trial run for me.It is good, functional and large enough for big hands (my husband’s). I love it so I just got another pair.

These oven mitts are even better than I expected. Silicon stripes keep them totally non-slip and you can just hold a baking tray straight out of the oven for AGES without burning your hands. Brilliant product.

Great price, great quality. The non-slip rubber strips on one side are very useful.

I deducted one star because the glove/mitt, comes half way up the arm and I have very long arms. I just wanted a glove/mitt to grab things out of the oven and find the length of these to be cumbersome. Beautiful color and quality, though. To grab cake pans, pies, casseroles etc., I think you will find these too long.
