I am always looking for more poew3rful, small hand held magnets to use when separating the stainless steel tumbler pins from my firearm brass cleaning episodes. This one replaced a smaller unit and works much better, meaning it collects more pins, faster, sooner. Price is fair. I learned on the last smaller version-Do Not submerse in water based liquids--it will rust internally and force you to take it apart and re-attach the magnets. Nice thing when you do have to do that is to attach additional magnets, with a better adhesive.

Just fine

This is a fair product in that it works as it is supposed to, but it is very cheaply made. The construction is of the most inexpensive materials and the finish is the same. It does the job and is a fair price point for what you get.

magnet is too weak

Not the strongest or heaviest duty but this works just fine for my needs to pick up magnetic tumbling media

Purchased for picking up steel pins. It will pick them up but only about 8 oz at a time. I also wish it was water tight. Would give more stars but the magnets just aren't strong enough for my needs

This is not a heavy powerful magnet. It is lightweight and more like a toy. Might pick up a few nails but it is not strong.

works great. I use it picking up metal from my shop table and where I drop metal on the floor. strong enough for not embedded metal. beats bending over.
