EDIT..... They look amazing. Couldn't wait to try em with my arduino and make some Christmas patterns. Received the order on the 2nd hooked them up today and they don't work. Super bummed about that. May be just a solder point somewhere but idk. Maybe yours will work but mine didn't and I ain't got the time to return them 😭.******EDIT******I Did end up getting them to work, it was a bad solder point on the red power input. As soon as I hit it with some fresh solder lit right up. It happens all the time. The manufacturer emailed instantly after seeing the post and said they would send out a new one but I never responded and fixed it myself and by no means fault them. It was great they emailed without me contacting them and a simple fix with no time wasted is OK with me. I'll buy again from this company. Happy new year.

LEDs DOA. I am using two separate power supplies for the Raspberry Pi and another for LED strip (5V10A). There is still no light even with proper wiring to GPIO and ground pins to LED. Currently waiting for WS2812B controller from manufacturer to test. Will update this review once this issue is resolved.------I contacted seller/manufacturer and finally received working LED strips!

Used these for Xmas lights at my parents. Great that they are waterproof and low power. If I could do it again I would have used 12v LEDs instead of 5v so I wouldn't have to inject power as much but overall very happy with the results.

I ordered 10 of the 100 LED /m black PCB strips for a project and received 5 black strips and 5 white strips. As far as I can tell there is no wiring or coding difference between the two colors and the black ones are actually just the white ones with a black cap. But the difference in collor of the LEDs does make my project looks a bit un- uniform. Hopefully it will not cause any issues once I get it up and running. Still disappointed in the mix up.Really great LED strips over all though.

I've bought 2, the LEDs are stunning, and works well with the controller with Wled, bright and beautiful. The Adhesive on the other hand is very poor, on cleaned surface, the first started to fall off with minutes after placing, the second didn't even stick, I just the Strip Light mounting clips to hold them.Overall, They're worth it, Definitely buying more, already making plans for Living room Christmas Light show.

Used this to create a cloud lamp with a raspberry pi and additional power supply. All LEDs working as expected. Headers are connected to both ends of the strip if you need to trim and don't want to solder.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  LEDs are as bright as others on the market. But very reliable very suitable for any project. Will buy BTF anytime! Product is a little expensive.

The headline is a reference to a 1977 movie, but refers to the fact that one of the LED chips (WS2812B) went up in smoke when we fired up the strip.Since WS2812B chips are designed to pass data along a chain, if one of the chips blows (as did here, quite aromatically in a poof of smoke) that data can no longer be passed down the chain rendering it useless.I was able to bridge the faulty chip by directly removing the faulted component and soldering the data out to the data in of the next chip (the electronic band-aid). Fortunately that's fairly easy if you have decent soldering skills, but it does suggest that these strips are not tested at the factory and any of us could be faced with a partly dead strip and potentially no way to know what to do.

Stuck really well to an aluminium bracket. Colours aren't great, with full white being quite cool (blueish tint), but good enough for the price

These are brilliant. Would be best suited for arduino controlled as each individual led can be changed colour brightness etc
