Very discreet and effective ,easy to connect and set up ,my only fault with it is the tiny screw locking cover on, mostly you up a ladder/steps doing the job and can be a bit fiddly.

Bought as a second replacement for an IP44 sensor that was full of spiders. Spent a bit more on an IP65 unit. Things that I like about this:1. I could believe this is genuine IP65 which should be mandatory for outdoor use.2. It is a simple design for ceiling mounting- no pointing required.3. It has a noticeably higher build quality than units costing just a few pounds less.4. The light sensitivity and time settings are simple to use and have meaningful scales.5. Although by no means small in diameter it does not protrude far from the ceiling.6. It looks very neat once installed- it handily also covered the holes from the previous sensors.What could be improved:1. A mounting template, or a redesign into separate inert bracket and bayonet mounted sensor unit.2. Lever sprung wiring connectors as used by more upmarket lighting companies.3. Protection for a very vulnerable sensor during the wiring process.4. The designer being made to demonstrate that the unit can be easily installed whilst perched on a step ladder in a high contrast lighting situation.Overall I pleased with the installed unit, but as others have pointed out wiring it in is more difficult than it should be.

I purchased one and proved perfect for outside my back door in our bungalow shortly after I purchased a 2nd one for outside our front door because a different model had gone faulty.

Bought this sensor for inside my Garage. Running two 20w led battan lights off it.I've got it set for 5 minutes on, but it must sense movement and stays on until there is no movement.The terminals are a bit small and fat fingers was a struggle. But overall it's a good sensor that doesn't require a Negative wire. Just 2 wires in and 2 wires out.

Works as expected!I found installation a tad difficult, but after two hours it all works well and looks very nice. The device does take a while to activate when it is first turned on (meaning if you switch off the power and back on.Also the detection range is much further than you'd expect. Very nice!

Really good motion detector, we installed it and connected directly to shower extractor and it works fab.

Very smart item.Being so low-profiled, the cable entry is at the rear only, and ideally needs cables that come through the wall onto which it’s mounted.In my case this was not possible, so it sits slightly proud of the cables.There are only two control potentiometers, rather than the more commonly found three.The one that’s missing is sensitivity, and with this thing being *incredibly* sensitive, the cats are setting it off every time they’re near.With the addition of some good quality tape, the field-of-activity has now been sorted out.A very neat piece of kit, which I’m reordering now.

Amazon seems to get the two models mixed up. Rest assured this model is IP65 and suitable for a bathroom. And works!
