We were just going to throw up some drapes over the bay window until I started thinking twice about covering up the window ledge and trim work. I was researching roman shades and a way to attach them up under the top bay window frame of each of the three windows in order to keep the bottom shelf uncovered and keep the depth of the window and framing. They also have bowed curtain rods you can buy for the effect but again i thought the curtains would take away from the effect. Then we saw the zebra concept in one of the big box stores. They were nice but very expensive so I checked amazon and voila! I measured "allot" to take into account of the diffence in width of the valance and actual shade so that the shade would cover each actual window pane. In the end they look wonderful with fresh clean straight lines that showcase the whole window frame and shelf. My two side windows didn't have the depth for under mount but they also look great as long as you again make sure to take into account and measure the window pane width and add at least 2 or more inches to the final measurement.

I ordered 3 of these from Amazon in April 2020 and they are fantastic. No complaints. When I went back to re-order 4 more of them a few weeks ago I couldn't find what I wanted, so I went directly to the chicology website that's linked to this product and ordered through there. No problem, right? Wrong. Since they won't let me leave a review on their site, I'm leaving one here. I'm not sure what happened, but the new blinds are different. The pull bar at the bottom of the new set I purchased is enclosed, which means it doesn't match. It also doesn't pull or retract as smoothly and has a tendency to get stuck. They are also NOT CENTERED. The wheel mechanism on the top right side is about 3/4 of an inch wide, while the right side has no wheel. Since there's nothing to balance the other side out, it leaves a gap on the right side that's more than an inch wide, while there's almost no gap on the opposite side. It's not a problem if you have curtains to cover it, but if you don't, or your windows are an older style, you're going to be able to see right through that gap. Poor design. Moral of the story? IF you order these, get the ones from Amazon, not the website.

This shade is amazing and beautiful! Great quality for the price! It slides up and down super easily! If you are prone to seizures or get dizzy easily, don't watch it go up and down since the stripes make it look like a herd of zebras running quickly past. The ability to have various amounts of light filtered through is great and it looks beautiful in all positions! Would definitely purchase another and recommend!

So I have only just hung these blinds about ten minutes ago. The first set I hung directly into strong wooden trim with no anchors needed and it was a breeze. The other two I needed anchors in drywall. These come with anchors, but they are trash. I put eight holes in my wall thinking it was my fault, but I tried pre-drilling even smaller holes and these anchors would still spin in place after the first five turns with a screwdriver. And of course the really small hole you couldn't insert the anchor through. Fortunately, I had my own set of anchors with matching screws that I had zero issues with. DO NOT use the anchors provided. I am happy with the color and they move smoothly. Time will tell how long they last. Cost effective solution to the dated and dusty drapery that was there before. I will still buy these for our basement.

I love, love, love these shades. I have ordered 11 so far but I am still waiting on the last two. Super easy to install with an outside mount. Please pay close attention to the sizing and how much to deduct. I have 35.5 in windows and ordered size 38 and they fit perfectly. If I had not read the reviews, I would have ordered the blinds for an inside mount but mounting on the outside was wonderful. For the bathroom I ordered 64 for a window 59.5. I have more spillage on the outside which is what I wanted for my bathroom. It is completed private. I am a female and do a lot of home projects myself but I feel that anyone could do this. A lot of light comes through when you want and there is privacy with the shades also. I am obsessed with the look, modern and super chic. I have three of the colors, not the white looking one. You will not be disappointed. The price is outstanding!

When I purchased these blinds, the delivery was Oct 9-17th. I received them Oct 5th. I was very pleased! They were very easy to install. Had them installed within 30 minutes. They have a clean line. I really like the dual shade that can be closed completely or opened with part sheer showing. The measurement was right on the money for me. The valance fit snugly. The shade doesn't completely cover the window, but it looks very nice. I chose granite color. I used in my gray bathroom. The granite color is gray, but it is more brown gray than blue gray so if you are wanting a blue gray, it may not work for you. The price was great as well. Very pleased with this product!

We ordered two of these for the windows in our daughters playroom. It is a nice product, easy to install, packaged well for shipping. It gives you the option of having it where you can see through it and the shade is down or you can have it up all the way or half of the way and get the same results.

Love love my Zebra shades!! Ordered 1 large 60x72 then 2 @ 20x72. First large shade arrived without hardware to hang. Got in touch with Chicology and THEY DID send me hardware and were very communicative. I measured inside of windows to get measurements So easy to hang above each window. I Like the look of the wòod molding between each window. Looks great to me. So measure your windows for the look you'd like to achieve. LOVE THESE shades. Had to wait a bit for delivery but we are in a pandemic.Thanks Chicology!!!

These blinds look nice, but the quality is lacking. The end caps on the pull down bar constantly pop off and two of our blinds are so wide it takes two people to put back on. Super annoying.If you’re looking for a short term fix these could fit the bill. If you’re looking for quality window coverings for the long haul, I would keep looking.
