Her voice is not that that laudable, not bad but not as good as Fado singers I hear din Portugal

My goodness what a voice!!! I heard the voice in a movie and immediately looked her up on the net and ordered it! A bit like Piaf!

She is one of my favorite singers. Her voice and the passion she sings with leaves me speechless at times.

Love Misia. Beautiful collection of Fado music!

Another great recording from Misia - you must be in the mood for it, but if you are, it's great! Leaves a haunting memory.

Eines der besten und leichtesten Souvenirs, die man aus LISSABON mit nach Hause nehmen sollte. Wenn es draußen dunkel ist und MISIA singt, merkt man gar nicht, dass man wieder zu Hause in Kellinghusen oder Heusenstamm ist.Was auch nicht unwichtig ist. Nach dem Ende dieser Platte bringt man sofort und unaufgefordert den Müllbeutel raus, selbst wenn er erst halb voll sein sollte. So lieb hat man dann sein Weib wieder, bis man diese oder eine andere Platte von ihr eben erneut auflegen muss, damit der Haussegen richtig hängt.

Fado ist nicht nur Musik sondern auch Gefühl. Ich liebe diese melancholische Musik aus Portugal in der kleine Geschichten erzählt werden. Die Sängerin Misia kann dies mit besonders viel Einfühlungsvermögen. Eine CD die besonders empfehlenswert ist.

If you've never listened to Fado before - I can highly recommend this CD. The quality of the singing as well as mixture of old and new fados is excellent. A 'must buy' as far as I'm concerned!
