Brute Power 92648 New Clutch Kit

Wasn't happy! There are 2 clutch kits available for a '98 Ford Ranger 3.0L. Description wasn't very clear on letting us know that prior to purchasing this item. When we received this one it was too small. No issues with returning the item. Just wished they would have made the descriptions clearer between the 2 clutch kits.

The product was shipped as described and arrived in a timely manner. It came with directions that were somewhat confusing due to the amount of different vehicles this clutch kit worked with. I referred back to the book to see the complete instructions for installation and torque specifications. Over all the clutch was fairly easy to install and works great.

How do I contact Brute Power to see if this clutch is the right size for my vehicle. Having issues with clutch not disengaging after installation.

I bought this to put in my wife's 1996 Mazda B2300, which is the same as a 1996 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder. The shipping was very fast and the kit was well packaged. Unlike the original self-adjusting pressure plate on these trucks, this has the standard diaphragm pressure plate. The kit also contained spline lube, the pilot bearing, the friction disc, the throwout bearing & its retainer, an alignment tool, an hydraulic line disconnect tool, and a new hydraulic line "O" ring.The "feel" of this clutch is much more positive. On starting out, the engagement starts with the pedal much closer to the floor. I have a 2000 Ranger and when the clutch gets replaced, I'll do it with one of these kits. I cannot say whether it is the original self-adjusting design or simply fatigue of the pressure plate fingers on her old clutch and my current clutch, but this kit is better than hers was or mine is.By all means, when you're in there doing the work, or having it done, replace the slave cylinder while you're at it. The price was good, shipping fast, and the parts work fine.
