Bought this as used
I love the box. It will do what I want it to do but when it came it had stains on instruction booklet and was dirty with old bread scraps inside.

Rarely holds a seal.
This would be a great product if they could address the seal in the center of the lid. Rarely can I set the turtle on top of the box and get it to seal. If the can fix this issue it would be a great product and almost perfect size. My 2lb loaf won't fit in the box without cutting it in half and then laying the cut side down side by side. I also have to cut about a half inch slice off of each halve to close the lid properly. I can live with that but the sealing is an issue.

Vacuum Seal
IT HOLDS THE VACUUM SEAL WITHOUT HAVING TO RESEAL SEVERAL TIMES. i THOUGHT IT WAS LOOSING ITS SEAL BECAUSE IT WAS BROKEN. WITH FURTHER INVESTIGATION, i DETERMINED THAT THE VACUUM SEALER NEEDED NEW BATTERIES. I CHANGED THE BATTERIES AND NOW THE BREAD BOX HOLDS IT'S SEAL.

Shady bait and switch business practices.
I bought the "bread container" to seal home-made bread. It is a thick and sturdy plastic, which is easy to clean. At this point I don't know how durable it will be, but only time will tell. The directions do not say if it is microwave or freezer safe.No where on the internet can you just buy the "Turtle" vacuum pump. All Fosa products for Fosa just say, "Use With Vacuum Pump “TURTLE” For Vacuum Storage."Fosa "Turtle" makes you buy their bundle package(s) of their other containers; except, their universal lid and bread container to get the pump.NOTHING is said about the "Turtle" device itself. What type(s) of batteries? Is it rechargeable?Where to get replacements or parts?WHAT'S THE WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE?NOTHING!!!

GOOD PURCHASE!!
I don't have any FOSA vaccum products, but I find this works well with the foodsaver system using the large jar suction cap. I bought it to store fresh made bread loaves. My disappointment is that if it were just 1/2 inch taller, I could store the loaf whole, but as it is, I have to slice the whole loaf and stack the slices inside. This works, since I can still vaccum the air out, but I would prefer to leave the loaf whole. Otherwise, I would give it a 5 star rating.

Well described & quick 🚚
The only drawback is that you definitely need the correct vacuum pump which comes at additional cost

It's not quite big enough for a loaf of sliced bread but works as described.

Not the right size for a loaf of bread but high quality
This is a high-quality container, much better than other plastic food storage out there. However, the size is not right for bread. Well, at least not for a small loaf of Pullman sandwich bread anyway. It's long enough for a 8.5-inch loaf of bread, but not tall enough for me to close the lid. It's too wide and the bottom is weirdly concave so that it's deeper in the middle than the sides. My bad. I should've paid more attention to the dimensions. Nevertheless, I'm keeping it because it looks sturdy. I'll just have to keep looking for a vacuum container for bread.

Half the size it needs to be for bread.
It's good for keeping a couple of croissants or pastries fresh, which is what I use it for. Useless for even half a loaf of ordinary bread which is what I would like to use it for.The worst thing about is is the pressure release. The other Fosa containers you just press down on the centre button. This thing you have to pull up, not easy if you have large fingers. Probably impossible for someone with arthritis. Like the elderly who would probable benefit the most from a vacuum bread box.

Does keep bread and such fresher.
I wish this was a bit longer and higher. For a loaf of unsliced bread this just doesn’t work. The air vet get blocked. Also, it doesn’t fit an entire loaf of unsliced bread. I have to make sure the vent hole is clear. So about 1/3 of the bread cannot go inside. Now once it is packed properly this product is great! I have had organic bread last in here almost 2 weeks! Without in 4 days that bread is mouldy.

J'AI LAISSE TOMBER. DU COUP, C'EST COMME UNE BOITE BASIQUE. UN PEU CHER POUR QUELQUE CHOSE QUI NE FONCTIONNE PAS. JE SUIS TRES DECUE.
