The full size - 6 drawers with storage underneath - daybed with bookcase is perfect for an adult. It took Amazon Home Services 3 hrs to assemble the bed, drawers and bookcase. The bed came in 4 boxes.Box 1: Headboard and slatsBox 2: Rails/Top/Bottom/HardwareBox 3: Sides/Divisions/Back PanelBox 4: Drawer Underbed StorageDue to the high cost of shipping as a result of the supply chain shortages, the bookcase is no longer shipped fully assembled. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn't update the box descriptions so there was confusion as to whether the bookcase pieces were included in the boxes. The new model numbers with the disassembled bookcase are 82822 (Twin - Merlot) & 82823 (Full - Merlot). This is important in order to get the correct assembly instructions. Youtube assembly videos are also available.Once assembled the bed is wonderful. A small problem is the 6 drawer unit does not come with a way to stop the whole unit from being pushed backwards under the bed. When you close a drawer, the slight force moves the entire unit backward. The technician stated there was no stopper included as part of the design to solve this problem. Also, only two or three of the wooden slats are screwed into the frame. The other slats lay loosely on top. This is not a problem once the mattress is placed on the bed. Also, the slats aren't coated so they're extremely rough and you can get a splinter . . . be careful. Also, you'll have to lay a sheet or mattress protector on top of the slats prior to laying the mattress down to protect it. Finally, the bolts used to hold the bookcase shelves in place aren't very secure but this is not a big problem.
