Banpresto JoJo's Bizarre Adventure:Stardust Crusaders Grandista-DIO-, Multiple Colors (BP16697)

I knew banpresto made great quality figures, but I wasn't expecting it to be as high quality as this. It is also significantly bigger than I expected it to be. Getting the stand to attach to the feet is the hardest part, but it's a great figure!

For the $30-50 this figure is going for, I must say size + detail are astounding. This is a weighty figure and easily dwarfs any other figure in my current collection. The details on the face (standout feature here, as he wears a delightfully menacing smirk), the paint job, sculpt and pose are all phenomenally executed. The cape is a really nice touch to the outfit. I see few to no blemishes on him, and looks extremely accurate to the source material. The only possible con I can see to this figure is the awkward cheese block that is meant to hold him up so that he can, wait for it, STAND. You almost have to cram it onto his foot with how tight it is, but no problem afterward as it holds him in place just fine. I have to wonder why this figure is so cheap compared to other similar JoJo's figures that are going up into the $100+ range, but I'm assuming that's chalked up to availability and this being a newer product. I imagine the price going up, so if you're a super hardcore JoJo's fan, and you NEED a good DIO from Stardust Crusaders, don't hesitate and nab this bad boy NOW.

I was initially going to give it 4 stars do to the fact Amazon's Pre-ordering is a complete joke, BUT for about 11 dollars more than the preorder price, I decided to get him now before he goes back up to the 50 and 60 dollar range. If I pre-order in the future I will stick with ordering off of Amiami and or TOM 「Tokyo Otaku Mode」He's definietly the heaviest out of the Grandista Jojo line, and he can stay up without his stand/base, though it's best to use it since any slight bump can cause him to fall down. The paint job was practically flawless, just a tiny bit of gold paint smudged on his cape where they painted his button but it's barely noticeable. He's well sculpted and easy to assemble. Of course there are small knicks on his hair from the material used when making it but it's not that bad of a thing to ruin the figure. I would suggest buying him now while he's still 35 「At the time of writing this review」since it doesn't seem like we'd be getting our preorders any time soon. I doubt they'd honour it. And if they do, well I have little paitence left to wait for them and just decided to pay the extra 11 dollar difference. Any ways he is a good addition to any ones collection and he looks good next to his son and Rohan, which both are also part of the Grandista line

I’ve been looking for more reasonably priced Jojo figures, since I mostly have black butler things and Jojo is my favorite anime. It’s a lot bigger than I expected, and the detail is really impressive for the price! I’d recommend to any other DIO fans out there.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas last year. To this day it’s still in great condition and the colors haven’t faded. The detail is amazing on this product and the packaging is very nice. It takes a few tries to get it to stand up on its own, but it will ultimately stand on its own once you work with it for a minute. Overall he and I are very impressed with this product.

This Dio figure is beautifully sculpted. I am especially surprised at just how his face is so flawless and accurate to the show. His posture is also very accurate to his character, arrogant and condescending. I was in awe at just how good the paint job is as I couldn't spot any paint smudge or over spray like you typically find with some prize figure. There is one thing that irk me is that the figure come with a weird yellow block that you're suppose to place on his front feet to securely keep him balanced. This kinda take away from the overall look of an otherwise splendidly sculpted figure. I wish he would come with a proper base instead of this thingamajig. Other than that this is an awesome buy for any Jojo fan.

I love him so much! He's so detailed and big. I tell him I love him everyday and how much he means to me, but he always tells me to shut up and go make him a sandwich. His hair is on the greener side... but it doesn't bother me, I still love him.Either way, 10/10.Did I mention that I love him?

This figure is pretty great! He's huge compared to my Josuke figure. His paint job is good except for a few minor paint smudges and small defects that are barely noticeable. I was expecting the yellow material his jacket and pants are made of to be glossier than matte. It isn't enough to ruin the figure, though. He looks awsome and he's scuplted pretty well! I don't really like the stand he came with though, you pretty much have to jam his foot into it which might cause it to break.

This figure is amazing! Arrived earlier than expected. Comes in lovely box with dio on it. Top quality figure foot stand a bit stiff but does go on. So excited to give as a gift would buy from this seller again.
