FANTASTIC for wool undies in front loading washer
I was so excited to receive this today! Immediately washed my new wool underwear in a front loading washer. A tsp is more than enough (probably a little too much for 5-7 pairs.) This is going to last AGES. Really great product. Wool is in great shape.

Good price good product
This is my go to for washing my handknits. While I do like some of the scents, I am just fine with unscented. Especially at this great price. It came with a safety seal over the mouth of the jug and the jug itself was in shrink wrap so no spillage issues here.

Good and economical
This product, although it seems expensive, is very economical. So little is needed that the gallon will last a very long time. So far, I have used less than a cup or so and have washed, by machine, about 20 sweaters. In addition, you don't need to rinse your garments, so that saves money and time as well.I need to dress warmly in the winter and dress in layers, so I look for second-hand merino wool and cashmere sweaters and vests. I have a small washer, so I usually put three to four garments in the washer that I have put about 1 tbs. of Eucalan. Fill the washer, put the Eucalan in as washer is filling, swish it around, ( no need to make a lot of suds) put sweaters in, let agitate for about a minute on GENTLE , stop the washer and let the garments sit for at least half an hour. I've left them overnight with no problem. Move the washer dial to spin, take them out when finished spinning, roll them in a towel if you want, let them dry flat. It will take some time, but no worse than taking them to the dry cleaners, and this is much better for them. And cheaper! Just use cool water and don't agitate too long or too harshly. No problem!

Gentle and unscented
I have a small business making hand dyed yarn. I have tried several wool washes from professional textile soap to various domestic and international products. I like the Eucalan the best. I use it for my dyeing studio, my hand wash items, and even my hair. It's better than regular shampoo for me.Pros:It is truly unscented. In this day and age, with a significant proportion of my customer base having allergies and asthma, the lack of scent is a real plus. I once tried another wash that left a scent on the yarn you could smell from across the room. It wouldn't wash out, you couldn't mask it, and it didn't fade over time. Eucalan Unscented solves all fragrance related problems. 'Nuff said.It is gentle. It does a good job of neutralizing the pH of the finished yarn. It takes out any residual spinning oils without leaving the yarn feeling harsh. It is rinse-free. I finish my dye work by dropping the yarn into a mild bath of Eucalan. No need for another rinse after that.Cons:This one gallon jug is a great size, but you have to purchase the pump for it separately. With the pump, it is very simple to dash a little product into the wash tub and go. Without a pump... well, I couldn't imagine using this big jug without a pump. On the other hand, once you buy the pump, you probably won't need another one any time soon.

it doesn't dry out the fibers of clothing, very pure.
It cleans, and softens clothing.

My Skin Loves It!
This stuff's great for those of us with hypersensitive skin. I bought this to fill little squeeze bottles to take on an extended international trip where only public laundry will be available via the concierge...I'll want to be able to use it for washing blouses, undies, etc. That you don't have to get every drop of soap off your clothing (no-rinse formula!) will help with the duty in a tiny, European ship bathroom. I have used another high-end soap like this for my undies for ten years, but if I don't get every bit out of my clothing, I itch. This? No itch! You can buy it scented and unscented, and I like the unscented. Yes, it's expensive, but you truly don't use but a teaspoon or so.

Excellent product
I have been using Eucalan for years for all our woollies and delicate clothing. It makes them last much longer. Although the price seemed to be steep it is actually very economical. You only need a teaspoon in a gallon of water. And so simple. Put the clothing into a tub with the water and Eucalan. Leave it 15 minutes - more won't do any harm, trust me who tend to forget the laundry! - spin (or squeeze by hand) and dry as you would normally do.
