Fitop WiFi Smart Bulb E27, LED Bulb Dimmable Warm White Light and RGB Colour Changing Light, 9W 806LM Compatible with Alexa/Google Home, Voice Control, No Hub Required 2 Pack

We’ve been using Fitop bulbs for a while. We mostly have hive bulbs, but stopped buying them due to the ridiculous cost and everything being controlled on Alexa anyway (never use the hive app).So far the internal ones have been 90+ % reliable. Rarely loose connection, or have issues. Occasional reset needed via switch but then they reconnect.We’ve also used four of these outdoors in our garden lights for the past 6 months, and even with current cold, wet and sub zero temperatures they are still working.Their WiFi range is questionable though. I have a node in the back window, and my phone and other devices have a full WiFi signal with fast speeds right to the back of our garden. But, these bulbs loose connection every month or so, and sometimes need to be removed from the holder and left for a while to fully drain power, then be screwed back in to come on (a quick on / off doesn’t work and they stay off).Most of the time removing for a minute and putting back in solves the issue for those that disconnect, but I have on two occasions had to totally reset by powering on and off four times then re-adding to th app and wifi.For the money though they ‘mostly’ work outside, and are a bargain compared to the rip off hive coloured bulbs.

Compared to a lot of WiFi bulbs I've had in the past, these were by far the quickest and easiest to get up and running. It integrated with Alexa seamlessly and I've set up various routines it recognises for colour, brightness etc. The only thing I don't quite understand is why the energy efficiency rating promoted on the box says it's right down at G, the lowest possible. I thought being an LED it would be an A?

Good range of colours and good that they can be programmed to come on and go off at certain times. Took a while to link up with my phone but did it in the end.

Linked these to Alexa with very little trouble. Main issue is that I have a light fitting that takes two bulbs and that was interesting to set up, but I got there. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love my smart lights, I have 16 of these in total in my house, would definitely recommend, I've had some from 2 years ago that are still going strong, the ones in the video were ordered last week and finally fitted them my new light fixtures, I'm so chuffedHuge range of coloursDimmableConnectivity is probably the hardest part but once you have it set up, it's sweet as10/10

My wifi service needs the MAC address for all devices to enable me to add it to the network however I’m really struggling to find the location of the MAC address for the smart bulb.

These are great value for money. Easy to set up and manipulate with the app. I just wish they were a bit brighter@
