UNBELIEVABLE COMFORT AND SUPPORT!!! THIS IS THE SLING I SHOULD HAVE HAD FROM THE BEGINNING!!!
I had an accident in December, breaking my shoulder and totally tearing my rotator cuff. I've had to put off surgery until the end of June and have worn different slings -- constantly in the beginning and on and off depending on my discomfort level as I head for surgery. After the surgery I will have to be in a sling for 6 weeks, and then intermittently. I've been searching for a sling I could be comfortable yet supported in for the summer. I saw this sling, read the reviews and decided to try it. I put it on a few days ago and couldn't believe how comfortable and relieved I felt. This is the sling I should have had from the beginning!! I then found out they have a swathe for it, to immobilize my arm. Not sure why they don't give you the choice to buy it as a set -- that is my only complaint. The strap is so adjustable that no adult need worry about adjusting it to fit. Now that I know what will get me through this long recovery process, I just ordered two more slings and two swathes. What a find!!!

Still looking for the bad...
I am so glad I bought this sling. I just had a total shoulder replacement. The sling from the hospital was not that comfortable so I ordered this one based on the good reviews. I'm glad I did! I need to wear a sling for the next 5 weeks and this is definitely going to get me through. The only thing I have to say, which is not a bad thing, is watch your sizes. I'm a woman who wears a size 16 and XL tops. Fits me absolutely perfect. Caution to those women and men who are larger than that. The regular size will be too small, so order up. I'm still looking for the bad things but I really can't find any. Extremely light weight and comfortable.

For me, this is the first thing to order if you break your arm
I broke my arm January 2021, and I wish I had ordered this sling immediately. I didn't have surgery, but for my proximal humerous fracture, this is the most comfortable and best-fitting sling. The neck strap around your neck is ok, but still head and shoulder over other straps. I had a sling from ER that was horrific and a sling from the doctors office where the strap was more comfortable, until I leaned my neck and back on a chair or bed. The thick strap hurt my back and neck because it was too thick. And the depth of the arm bed is just right so that the sling/strap doesn't hurt your arm.Yes, this did slip around if I didn't put my thumb in the little strap, but I just adjusted it and went on. I used the thumb strap when we went for a walk to stabilize the sling. Yes, the velcros needed trimming with scissors so they were not hurting, but this was a common problem with all three of my slings. I also took a small piece of T-shirt material to cover the velcro thing. For a woman, I think this is the most comfortable best fitting sling. It's a tough time and you learn a lot.

Great for some, not for others
If you’re a male or wide female with a hand or wrist injury, this is the sling for you. Comfortable and stretchy fabric with support at the wrist area. However, if your injury is further down on your arm, the stretchy fabric doesn’t give support. If you’re an average or thin woman, the Velcro will be at your neck and rub against it.

Great sling for a not brand new fracture
I recent fractured my humerus right below the humeral head and was fortunate enough to not require surgery nor a cast. Well, I could have had a case but they would have had to wrap it around the other side of my body and well, you get the picture. These type fractures are essentially a shoulder fracture and very painful. The humerus is a large bone and with the fracture that high, shoulder mobility is affected and any movement is excruciating in the beginning. I purchased this sling because the cheapO one they sent me home with was very uncomfortable. This sling has an immediate "Ahhhh" feel because it is soft and has some give. The downside to that is that it has some give so with a new fracture, you don't want that because the slightest movement will take your breath away. I think this sling is better suited for a 2 week or older fracture when mobility doens't hurt like the dickens. What I really liked about it was that I could throw the strap over my shoulder then situate my arm in it and put the sling on by myself. I also liked that as it loosened from the weight of my arm (the strap didn't loosen, the fabric is stretchy and gives) I could just un-velcrow and re-velcrow a little tighter with one hand. This became an almost automatic thing for me during the day: loosen, tighten, loosen, tighten. It was comfortable to wear and I would not hesitate to purchase it again for a not brand new fracture.

Comfortable
Best arm sling. I was going crazy with the other brands. They were so uncomfortable and I was miserable for 2 weeks before I bought my arm sling by joslin. I bought 2 different ones before and they hurt my neck and around my arm from being to smug. I think I would have gone crazy without this arm sling. Breaking my arm near the shoulder was bad enough and not having a properly fitting arm sling nearly put me over the edge. Thank God I Found this sling. I bought another one too for a back up. I was in my arm sling nearly 8 weeks with the later weeks only wearing it when I was away from home.

Hard to Put On
If you've got two good arms, this sling is probably easy to put on. Of course, if you have two good arms, you shouldn't need a sling. However, if you have a torn rotator cuff in one shoulder as I do, it's just too painful trying to adjust this so it fits without making even more pain than I started with. I need my not always available wife to help me with this , which seems sort of problematic as to the sling's overall utility. It is light weight, but impossible for me to be on by myself, so essentially, it's useless.

I comfy Velcro
Was pleased with quick delivery.i thought it would be a bit more substantial.feels very comfortable except for awful Velcro which is plastic razor sharp not Velcro as I have ever come across.which is overlapping the strap particularly when the strap narrows with the weight of the broken limb.i hope no one tries use it on anyone not able to trim it or alter its position.had to get a bit stocking bandage to wrap round and round it too ma ke it comfortable to use. Not sure it will last or I can bear for the ten weeks estimated for my shoul der joint to heal.one given by NHS casually had this same fixing also razor sharp and very uncomfortable.hope they don't use them on children.had to keep it as desperate and in lot of pain fleece material very hot Particularly with present weather.

Does the job perfectly
Having broken my scapula playing rugby I needed a good sling. You can find less expensive ones and others more expensive, the choice is yours. I opted for this product and received it the following day while choosing the normal delivery 3-5 days. I have been wearing it for 6 days (and nigths) now, I do recomend this product and Joslin Orthopedic Gear. If you are considering buying this product then I wish you a good recovery.

Excellent. Super quick delivery
Excellent. Super quick delivery. Chose standard delivery and received in less than 24 hours. Purchased for someone who has had surgery on their wrist and they have said it is very comfortable.
