Cole Haan Men's Cambridge Chukka Boot

Not quite comfortable enough for the price.I really like the look and the potential fit and feel of this boot, but in the end it wasn't for me. It's a beautiful shoe, great looking leather right out of the box and excellent design with leather and rubber elements to the sole and heel. But the left tongue area was always digging into my left heel and started making walking uncomfortable after just a few minutes.I really thought the break-in period on $240 shoe would be shorter, or at least give me the impression that any discomfort would be eased with wear, but I didn't get that impression with these.There are some beautiful Allen Edmonds boots on sale right now for right around the price of these. I went to the local AE store and tried on two pair and was really impressed with the way those shoes fit like a glove right off the bat. So for the money, I had to go with a different brand, especially one that has such a stellar reputation. (Cole Haan shoes have taken a hit in recent years after being purchased by Nike and having most of their shoes made in India now.)Another thing with CH that bothered me was being able to find a place to try these one ---- I had gone to a brand new Cole Haan outlet and this just didn't have this one. It was explained to me that they carry some stuff from the stores and some stuff you can't find in the stores, or online. How terribly unfortunate. Fortunately for me, Amazon let me return these right away because of the fit.

I would recommend to anyone I know and have done so to everyone I have met. If you have never worn a pair of ankle boots you are missing out. I wore these selling cars where I walked 8 miles or more every day on concrete. A year later these shoes still have their soles and I never feel pain like I did with traditionally laced dress shoes. I will make this last statement in all caps because it is important. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PAIR OF DRESS SHOES UNLESS THEY ARE ANKLE BOOTS. These shoes are so awesome that I will never go back to the pain of having laces digging into the top of my feet.

A beautiful pair of dressy-casual boots that look and feel great. The fit and finish are of a high standard and the leather is supple and nicely stitched. The boots have a very stylish tapered toe and the brown leather pair I purchased is perfectly suitable with jeans, dress pants and even a suit. Having worn them steadily for nearly two years I can say they are comfortable, easily buffed up to a nice shine, and definitely worth the money.I have received numerous compliments on them. Incidentally, the soles have stood the test of time and are still in good shape. Highly recommended. (Note: the shiny brown leather pair does not appear in the current - Oct 2016 - product list).

These shoes are typical Cole Haan craftsmanship . That is , they are as advertised . They look good , fit well and are stylish . I've been wearing Cole Haan shoes for some time now and the quality has never been in question . Its nice to know that there is still a product out there one can depend on being "what you pay for ".

For the price, the shoes are great. The leather is a bit plasticky looking, and they won't be confused for high-end shoes...but they're comfortable, and work in a variety of settings.

These are well made, comfortable, and good looking boots. I bought them for those rainy or slushy days when regular dress shoes just don't cut it. They look fine at the office with a suit or dress slacks. The leather is good quality, not stiff, but substantial. Stitching is nice, as is the overall fit and finish. I highly recommend these boots.

These shoes are great. Good quality leather, and great price. They run slightly large, I normally wear 12 1/2 - 13 and got a 12 and they are perfect.

Very nice boots. Usual good cole haan quality. I got a great price, which makes them extra nice! A little bit of a break in period, and they are very comfortable.
