I've installed 9 of these units as our plumbing leaks like a sieve. I created a test leak this morning and placed the sensor in it. The sensor, for want of a better word, chirruped. A very low volume beep, which could in no way be called an alarm. The app could also make a better job of prompting if it finds an inconsistency between your sensor and phone's notification settings, if you have sensor notifications on but Neos notifications turned off at the app level, you’re not going to see anything. One annoying feature, which is not the fault of Neos, is the age old issue where I wouldn't be notified of a leak, during a time where I've set do not disturb in iOS/iPhone. I assume I'll have to try to cobble something together using IFTTT or home assistant if there's ever an integration for that. Maybe the app does or should send an email too; that way it may be easier to figure out being able to be alerted overnight. So, at the moment, they're not as good as the very loud honeywell 'dumb' alarms but I hope this situation improves. ** After posting this review, I did find that you can override Do Not Disturb on Android devices; I used Android 10 on a Motorola One and can receive leak notifications at all times.

Great product, but over sensitive and regularly loses signal to the camera requiring a reboot. If only you could stop that happening, it would be great for security…..

Easy to install using the hub in the kit and the Neos app. I am using it to monitor temp and humidity in the house currently I have two sensors deployed and both are working well. They are helping to monitor the efficiency of the dehumidifier system. Can't comment on weatherproof a features as mine are indoors.

The only affordable smart leak sensor. Works like a gem - get notifications to your phone if humidity changes or leak is detected. Worth every penny.

Really easy to setup, comes with batteries plug and play with the Neos smart cam.

Terrible product. Works intermittently and cannot rely on it at all. Very disappointed. Why do companies sell products and fall so low to what they are advertised for? Looking for alternatives.

Two leaky appliances in a week triggered a search for moisture sensors in case something worse happened. We were happy to have something basic as long as it's loud and alerts your phone. After reading enough positive reviews of the Neos set-up we went for it and they're great! I was worried they may be too cheap to be true, but not at all.Easy to set-up and have worked well for a few weeks including early detection of a minor drip under the sink. They also measure temperature and humidity though less interested in that.5* purchase.(Camera is also good but we bought the set-up primarily for the sensors. Faultless at twice the price)

These connect easily to the NEOS app after attaching the adapter to an existing camera (required).Set up and configuration is pretty simple too with ability to set thresholds for humidity and temperature alerts in addition to its main purpose of water detection.My main issues are the fact you cant have an alert set for water detection unless you also have motion detection switched on for the camera, this often results in huge number of notifications and makes the chances of missing an urgent leak quite likely.Another minor issue is that after being notified of an issue the app (iOS 4.15.2.613) fails to respond and needs to be restarted.Overall: a worthwhile addition that could be better
