Seacret From The Dead Sea nail Care Collection - Ocean Scent - 4 Piece Set

Firstly, I hope no one buys this item from the sales kiosks you find at malls. They are extremely pushy and the prices they charge are FAR higher than they would be on amazon (also, they'll exaggerate certain qualities about the product to make a sale, so be weary of everything they say). IF you have fantastic bargaining skills, you may be alright.In terms of performance, the product is much better than what you would find in either drug stores or even beauty shops. It does give you a home nail kit that would rival any job at a nail salon. In particular, I bought this package for the nail buffer, which really does work better than any other nail buffer I've used.The reasons why I only give 4 stars (and even then I feel a bit too generous) is for the following disadvantages:-The nail buffer didn't last that long; after maybe 3 or 4 uses the results weren't as good.-The lotion, although smells fantastic and feels very nice, the quality isn't that high, and contains some harmful chemicals (although most people aren't bothered by these) such as dimethicone, triethanolamine, lots of parabens, butylphenyl and a couple of others.-Lastly, I didn't see any difference made by the cuticle oil.All in all, the product overall is great as long as you get it for under $15. For that price, it's worth the 4 stars. Anything paid more than that, and I'd call it a bad deal.

When I originally purchased this product over 5 years ago at a mall kiosk I was hooked. The fact that I can continue to order it on Amazon is priceless. The lotion, oil, and buffer cube are a super hero combination. I could never grow decent nails because they were flimsy and constantly splitting and breaking. My nails were also dull and developing ridges in the nail beds. With one use I saw immediate results in the shine and feel of my nails and hands. With continued use; once or twice a month, I started growing beautiful nails that did not split or peel. The ridges in my nail beds are almost unnoticeable and the shine gives my nails a youthful look that does not show evidence that I am a smoker. I highly recommend this product. It is another of my favorite things!!!

I bought this on Amazon because I thought it was the regular Ocean formula. I got the package, which says "Ocean" right on the front of the box (see the photo on Amazon), opened it up and found "Ocean Mist". I like the original Ocean scent and formula because it's thicker and it lasts longer. The Ocean Mist formula is watered down and just pours out of the tube. I will still use it but the entire package is not as impressive as the first one I bought. The nail files are more flimsy in this set too. I'm pretty disappointed that I spent over $20.00 for a lotion and nail set that is poor in quality. I probably could have picked up something similar at TJ Maxx for half the price. Oh, well....live and learn.

I liked the hand/body lotion, the cuticle oil and buffer a lot but the nail file didn't hold up very well.

It works well I think thats all that really matters, although there was some scratches & one stain dot but not too bad I just ignored it & went on doing my nails, shiny & soft!

Over the years, I have purchased several of these sets for myself, and as gifts, and everyone loves it. It is almost addictive! You will love it, too, I am certain.
