Women’s Pinafore Square Apron Baking Cooking Gardening Works Cross Back Cotton/Linen Blend Dress with 2 Pockets Gray

I’ve been on a search for a perfect Japanese style cross back apron for a while now. I’ve bought mid priced ones from major retailers (e.g. World Market) and I’ve bought a fancy homemade one from Etsy. The Etsy one is way to small (its “one size”) and the material is meh. The World Market one for example has a nice weight material but isn’t quite long enough and is slightly too big (also “one size”). I wasn’t expecting much from this apron, it’s pretty cheap. First advice would be to order 2 to 3 times LARGER size than you think you need. Apron is made in China and seems to use Chinese sizes. When you get the apron the size on the tag may not be the size you ordered but it will be correct.I ordered this apron in the red color. The color seems to be color-fast in the washing machine and its not faded (I hang it to dry, not put it in the dryer as I’m worried it will shrink). It does get very wrinkled unless ironed. The material its made from isn’t the best. It feels cheap. It’s pretty thin and scratchy, even after multiple times being washed. But it does seem to be fairly durable and after about a dozen washes there are no holes or loose threads.I like the length and how high up my chest it sits. I like the high up cross back. I wear a size 40D bra and the 3X size fits ok but its snug across my chest, I couldn’t wear a sweater under it comfortably. In short, for the price its decent. I can forgive the crappy material because I like the design so much. I’m thinking of trying to find someone to recreate this in better quality fabric.

I bought this in a size XL. I feel it’s made a little boxy, but because I have a sewing machine, I am able to move the straps in more because they are too separated for my body shape. I’m 5’2 and I feel it’s a little long so I will also hem the bottom, other than that it seems like it’s made so you can easily alter it to fit your body. It’s a great breathable linen like fabric. I will definitely order another one, but I may try a size large.

I bought three of these at the off set and I love them so much that I just bought my fourth one!!! I love all of the colors! They make a great “mom uniform”! They are so cute with skinny jeans or flared jeans! I can’t function without pockets and these pockets are perfect!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I do have to make one updated amendment though: sometimes the sizing on these are not very consistent. All of my friends have jumped on the band wagon to wear aprons everyday, but some of them have had a hard time getting the right size. They go by the sizing chart and then what is sent to them is not the correct size. I have even ordered a couple that were sized incorrectly. The last one I ordered was a medium, as are all of my other ones, but then the size on the tag was crossed out with a pin and an L was written beside it. Then, on the packaging an XL was handwritten on the label ( even though the printed label said it was a medium). And the product was very obviously an XL! I just keep telling my friends that it is hit or miss as to whether or not they are actually able to get the correct size. That is very frustrating and time consuming. I would gladly own one in every color if I could trust that I was going to get the correct and consistent size every time.

The linen fabric is soft and floaty and the pockets are a good size and well placed on the apron. It was packaged rolled in a jar so when I got it out, it was wrinkle-free and ready to wear. This garment will fit different bodies in different ways, but the simple design and comfortable fit would work well for most people.I will probably buy a few more in other colors!

I can't wear anything that pulls on my neck, so this style is a must for me. I have bought 4 of these and everyone fits differently, they are all the "same" size however one is tight and one is VERY loose. So it's a gamble, but the price is right. Fabric is good, it washes up very well.

This is a very nice kitchen apron It is super easy to put on and the shoulder straps do not fall off your shoulders. It is lightweight and feels like nothing (in a nice way). I like the fact that it just slips over your head, with cross back straps that keep the apron in place. I have many other body long aprons that must be tied around your waist. I'm only 5'2" and all of them are much too long in the torso. So that if I try to try the straps around my waist it would be tied around the bottom of my hips. I therefore have to fold it up and then tie it. Eventually, the apron body slides down. Not good. This apron I just bought eliminates that with no ties at all. Great apron and comes in many colors. I purchased the black. Happy, happy.

Did not fit as intended, hung way down in neck and tight in arm holes. Tried to return it but seller would not send return info-- now the return window is closed. I have had several aprons of this style and know how it is intended to fit. This is poorly made, I do not recommend it. Now I will have to use it as expensive scrap linen, I guess. Buyer BEWARE!
