I bought this for a shadow box I was making. I was really impressed with the quality for the price point. The item was packaged very well and came fully wrapped in bubble wrap. You'll get a frame with acrylic glass, a foam board with a burlap covering, and a package of a few pins. The back of the shadow box has some fixtures to allow it to either be hung on a wall or set on a table top. I only wish the foam board was slightly thicker because I found that all of my push pins stuck through the back but it wasn't a huge problem as I just snipped off the ends. Overall I was very satisfied.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this shadow box when I got it in the mail. It is very sturdy and well made. The frame is simple and elegant and will be good for any design, the background of the box is cute and universal. Also, I love that it has plexiglass as I am going to use it for my son’s room, he is a toddler and the plexi is great from a safety point of view. It’s a big shadow box, you can put a bunch of things in it depending on your project. There are some pins and hooks included in the set which is nice. The frame has 2 sawtooth hangers attached to the back so it’s easy to hang on the wall. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

Not too bad. It fulfills the need I bought it for, which is displaying my recently deceased baby boy's ashes and his old collar/fur trimmings. I wanted to have a way to keep him around and thought this would be a neat way to do so.HOWEVER, the plexiglass that comes with the frame will NOT fit in the frame. I tried for half an hour to get that bad boy in there, but nothing doing. In any case, I fear that managing to fit the cover in would've sentenced my baby to be sealed away in the plastic confines of that frame for eternity, lest I pop open the back and ruin the arrangement of his things.At the end of the day, I rather like the frame, and I like it more without the cheap, plastic cover. The pins included are nice, but I did use something more sturdy to hold the bag of ashes because the included pins are a little bendy. The frame is sleek, small, and with no noticeable issues.Plastic cover = not great, very thin, doesn't fit. Maybe try cutting it if you're that hellbent on using it.Frame = came as described. Well-made, sturdy, no chips or damages, securely packaged. The canvas inside is OK, and I'm sure you could slip a cover over it if you don't like it. It looks like the back comes off so you can removed that as well.I would recommend if you're as short on cash as I am and need to display something in a neat, classy way : )

It is my first time buying/using a shadow box to display my son's first 1k run bib and 1st place metal. :) So, it is probably fair to say that I am not the most knowledgeable on the shadow box or what the average quality should be. However, with that said, I am happy with this purchase. The product itself does not feel cheap or that it's poorly made. It was also shipped with foam materials wrapped all around to prevent damage during shipping. The back is not made with cheap cardboard that feels like might fall apart (like the photo frame sometimes found in the 99 cent store), and the little things that close the back are not made of cheap cardboard either.I will definitely be buying more in the future!
