BIC Velocity Bold Retractable Ball Pen, Bold Point (1.6mm), Black, 2 Count, Great for Everyday Writing

Never would I write a review for a pen. However, this is probably the best pen so far that I have ever used. It glides well. Grip is just right and it works fantastic!

The paste 2 yrs I've been looking for a Good pen, that really uses BLACK Ink instead of gray. I also wanted Bold lines. This 1mm pen works Great, and the ink is "new" works well, and is actually Black. I believe the ink would still be good a year from now. I am buying a box of dozen 7mm cuz it works soooo well that a 1 mm line is not needed!

This pen puts out soooo much ink and it's soo bold! It's almost too much. Probably best for writing something large or if want to sign your name boldly. But not the best for jotting down notes to self etc. Probably better to stick with 0.7 mm or 1.0 mm for that. Still gave it 5 stars because it delivered on its promise. One more thing: the refill is terribly tiny... almost half the length of a normal ball point refill. The short length, combined with how much ink it puts out, I don't imagine it would last too long if used regularly.

I am in love with these pens they write so good and smooth I will always use these before anything else .

I love how these write when they are working. Smooth, bold lines. But I journal 3 pages every morning and there are always 3 or 4 times that the ink seems to run out and I have to scribble on the side to get the ink flowing again. I have 2 boxes of these (blue and black) and I've tried switching pens and it's not just one pen that does this. I find it frustrating because when these are flowing, they are my favorite, but the skipping just drives me nuts. I can't find another brand with this bold of a writing tip either, so I'm flummoxed on this. Maybe it's because I'm on a slight angle while writing in bed?

Disappointed. Just a regular pen. There is nothing bold about it.

Just what I was looking for. Will be buying more.

hard to find this at the stores because they have a wall full...but this makes life easy...and my best pens are with me again
